Your explanations are clear and easy to understand. I’ve been tatting for 20 years and have learned so much in the last year from watching videos. This one would have been very helpful in the beginning. I used the cut and glue method because I had never seen any other method until recently. Combining four different ways to deal with the ends in one video is a great idea! Thank you.

Reading your comments makes me so happy, and I'm glad I could suggest new ways for you to think about ends. Offering the knowledge I have accumulated from almost 30 years of tatting in videos is a new experience for me. But I'm glad this way is available now and that we can help each other learn more about tatting! Thank you for watching! Have a wonderful day! Jeanne 🙂

Please show how to add more chain thread. Adding shuttle thread demo was awesome. I was never shown to tie ends with a square knot first.

Well demonstrated. Leaving the long tail to attach the motif to a fabric is quite interesting!! Sure ,u cleared some of my concepts about cutting the tatted peice.thanks❤😊 What about the fifth way of hiding tails by using magic loops.....??any comments...

Thank you and I'm glad I could answer some of your questions. You are correct, using magic loops is another way to hide ends. In my opinion, this is a more advanced technique. As a beginner learning how to tat, keeping track of one or two ends can be a challenge. My goal with this video was to offer a few places to begin. Once a tatter has gained confidence and understands the basic concepts, introducing a magic loop can be helpful. Thank you for the idea and for watching! 🙂
