The Mk XIV Spitfire display at the close of the display was a beautifully flown treat which showed the aircraft at it's best, kudos to the pilot. Pity the BoB Memorial Flight Hurricane did its usual display in the adjacent county😢.

The Comet is a beautiful thing. Sounds amazing too. I can't help thinking it would have made a good fighter.

Well, some of the design philosophy undoubtedly ended up in the Mosquito, 10 DH design projects later!

Very nice. I noted with interest that the MkXIV Spit had an anomoly.... NV 293 9n one side of the tail, MV293( correct designation) on the other, or so it seemed from the video.

I like how with the biplane (Sopwith Pup?) and the Sopwith Triplane they don't waste time with taxiing, just swing the prop, chocks away and off you go! 😀

An excellent video, but too much "Spit". 8 minutes is a 1/3 of the video, & it would have been better to showcase more of the old timers.
