So glad I found this video! Siam Shade is still one of my top bands ever. Been jamming to them since the early 2000s, when it was a real pain to find any videos or download tunes. You've gotta check out their other tracks too!

Glad you picked the one I recommended. If you want to listen more SIAM SHADE to form a deep opinion, check out these ones: -Allergy kzitem.info/news/bejne/sK-NuaCannd1jag (they sound more hardcore in this one) -Get a Life kzitem.info/news/bejne/1H6il4aNhl-VnKw -MOON kzitem.info/news/bejne/xKuguKdpgauWdno (more softer and melodic side of them) They're all sung by the way. SIAM SHADE is very well respected in Japan, although they wasn't as big as other bands from their era, like X Japan or LUNA SEA, but they played on big arenas and all of them were always sold out (they were always capable to fill Nippon Budokan for example). For some reason I make this parallels between SIAM SHADE and BAND-MAID because these ladies reminds me a lot of what SIAM SHADE was doing, they way they put out different genres and the way they play their music. Well, I've been digging deeper in the discographies of both bands so it's very remarkable to me. The main guitarist is named DAITA, a very skilled but melodic player, I really like how he puts riffs and solos with lot of feeling. He now makes instrumental music and he recently realeased a new record called "Melodicfall". Cheers guys!

I really love this band so much, I'm glad you guys reacted to them. Sad that it wasn't for your musical taste, totally respectable tho, so I'm pretty sure you guys and I have very different musical taste. I find Daita (lead guitar) an amazing and incredible (and so underrated) guitarist.

I enjoyed the rhythm guitar as well. Enjoyed the melodies, and yes it was a cohesive song. Nice sound. It's what I'd call, these days, hard rock. That's one of the phases of what metal once was. It certainly brought me back to the late 80's early 90's though. I don't count myself a metal fan these days but I enjoyed this song.

Hey guys: If you want to hear some of their best songs, try "DREAMS", "BLACK", "大きな木の下で" or "LOVE". Their vocalists are pretty great.

Doug, first rule of unofficial Unhinged Reactions club, we dare not speak the name "YNGWIE", for fear that that Swedish Babadook might make an ill-timed, most-unfortunate appearance!!! And Ed, concur with the favorable comparisons to mid-period S. Vai, but the tone kinda reminded me more of Satch in parts. Overall, just grateful that this wasn't yet another viewer-pander Band-Maid video, as it is currently far too "Early In The Morning" (obscure GAP BAND reference, natch!!) to submit myself to that kind of unapproved Geneva Convention 'brand' of 'musical' torture!!!!

Sorry, obviously meant 'viewer-pandering video' above, lack of precision editing due to repeated, unnecessary mentions of Yngwie (and brief video) towards the end of your latest video. Sh@t, hope he doesn't read this, or he might just "Unleash The Fury" on my lame, middle-aged Tuchus!

Aw man, I disagree with you. I think BAND-MAID is awesome, I think they really understand how to put together elements of classic and modern rock (and other genres) with an exceptional musicianship and with their own style. So it's comprehensible more reactions to this band. Anyway, is a matter of tastes.

I wouldn't force you guys to listen to Japanese vocals if you're not into them, but Triptych is another of their instrumental tracks.

It reminds me of the game Last Samurai. It sounds more oriental/traditional (hirajoshi). It does not sound blues at all

No Offence but Im disagree with you guys, their music in every note, rythm, drum partiture is the best combination. This song Virtuoso telling every ear how they tell the stories from "music" only You can search and hear from their other songs maybe to know their song better
