You idiot i trusted You now i hate You. Lol Not! we love You here Clatt; when You said 1,000 miles i started having grande theories of the world subducting, like a doughnut/gravy ring. Was trying to map a course from there, through the earth to all that coal deposited in Antarctica. Ive always wondered why all the coal is in the antarctic. Was thinking i'd missed out on the amazing Lake Baikal info somehow. 1,000 miles deep! what am i a schmuk. All that coal down south will be on my obsessive mind for another month. Somebody must have a better answer than mine. I'm thinking magnetic polarity models, as above so below. Or as in the ether/spyrate, so in the dust/crust. How, why else but a wringing doughnut process, does all the worlds fauna windup all condensed on the one spot. In the south Pole. Why is that land there traditionally for Nomad's. At the end of day, putting down roots is a bit dumb. It's all change on the face of it. 1x finger, 1x thumb, 1x arm, 1x leg, 1x nod of the head, Keep moving. Welle all be merry & gay.

As several have said before me....vodka for breakfast could have something to do with it! At least you know which of your followers are actually paying attention! AND it made me look up the depth of Moosehead Lake, as it is the biggest glacial-carved lake in the state...I messed up too, it is not 55 feet deep, that is the average, it is actually 250+ feet deep....and I had leftover Thanksgiving corn casserole for breakfast!

OOOPS the lake is about 1 mile deep (5,387 ft to be exact) not 1000 miles, that would be over 5 million feet deep, deeper than the deepest spot in the ocean (which is only 36+ thousand feet or almost 7 miles). I know between the Vodka and cold weather it's hard to keep the facts in order :-)

"Keep forgetting that we`re in freaking russia" :) My friend, many people have false ideas about russia. As a country with the size of an continent, it has all kinds of landscapes and climates. Because you were speaking about a desert like landscape: There are actually real (almost) desert landscapes in russia - in the Astrakhan region for example. There are salt lakes, absolute dryness and summer temperatures that will boil your brain. Look at this: venividi.ru/node/17095 Or search google pics for this: Богдинско-Баскунчакский заповедник Russia is far more than the cold gloomy place people imagine after watching american movies.

In Eastern regions of Russia which are close to Japan there are a lot of Japanese cars with steering wheel at the right side. Authorities tried to fight that with restrictions and so on but eventually gave up and let people drive the cars they want to. The traffic is right-sided though.

So, I know you are traveling on the cheap and I don't want to ask what budget you are on. But let's say one goes on a regular holiday for the amount of time you are doing and is on a budget in the middle of the road. From the train perspective of second class, and regular hotel room nothing fancy then doing all the things you are doing, what would be your guess price for that? $US I am also wondering how many of those locals were persecuted by Marxist and Stalinist government reps for their beliefs.
@TheTravelingClatt

+Ron Buckley I would assume you’d need about 1000 dollars. We have a video coming up discussing the costs so keep an eye out. But it’s a subjective question because some will spend more some less it depends on how you travel.
