In this episode I share with you, one of my families favourite meal to savour on Good Friday.
What you will need is:
500 grams of Silverfish/whitebait
1 1/2 cups of pecorino/grana padano grated cheese
sea salt / pepper
1/2 cup of diced parsley
1 tablespoon of confit garlic watch my latest video on making confit garlic.
1 1/2 cups of corn flour.
Mix together.
In a large frying pan add canola oil to fry the fritters, place some oil on your hands this makes it easier to work with the fish.
Then begin to fry them, until they are golden brown. Make a nice salad to go with this dish and there you have a simple elegant Cucina Povera Sicilian dish. Remember the name of the fish when you go to Sicily so that you can try the dish there Nunata.
