If I found any of those shoes on ebay for $40 I'd scroll right past.

The 24 karat solid gold heels don't make sense. Surely you wouldn't be able to put any weight on those?!? In India, traditional jewelry is often solid gold, and those pieces don't tend to have any stones set in them because of the risk the setting will bend and the stones will fall out! 24 karat gold is soft as heck! My mother has a traditional bracelet, and it has only been worn a handful of times, because it bends so easily.

I thought the same thing, they must have a solid metal core made of something other than gold. There's no weigh (sorry) anyone over the age of like 6 could put their weight on one of these.

If I buy expensive shoes, I want them to at least be comfortable. If I'm going to pay more than a couple of hundred dollars on shoes, they should be able to walk for me

I just wanna state how much I'm willing to pay varies drastically when considering whether personal safety equipment is just considered clothes or rather tool. Idk but i consider my steel-capped boots seperate from proper shoes and I'm much more open to spending sums I'd otherwise find ridiculous to be both safe and comfortable during during my working hours. Much much more than shoes i might wear to a concert or a convention or even a funeral (yeah, my "good shoes" are CHEAP compared to my PSE)

When you asked your first question. And I’m a man so there’s a discount right there. I was thinking OK for really comfortable high-quality pair of shoes. My max will be $180. But I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than 100.

I do believe in spending extra on really good shoes, but by 'good' I mean comfortable and sturdy, not.... *gestures at screen* this. I've spent $370 on a pair of really *really* good hiking boots, and man were they worth it!

First ones look horribly uncomfortable but are actually kind of pretty as an art piece (I love gingerbread houses). But as for the million dollar cake, surely anything that expensive wouldn't even be edible? All gold leaf and fondant and probably mismatched flavours. Gross. Second ones are just boring. The end. Third ones? I can't even - where's the meteorite? Why? What's even the point? Why can't you see the meteorite? And why would you put it in a shoe??? As for how much I'd spend on shoes... I guess absolute max, assuming my circumstances changed and I could somehow afford it, $200. (They'd have to be really comfortable though. My feet are shaped kind of weird, so good shoes are hard to find.)

Of course all of these are absurd and ridiculously expensive, but the first and third pairs at least attempted unique, distinctive design, whether you like it or not. The second pair looks like something Payless could sell a rhinestone knockoff of for under $20.
