You can be one of the greatest Jiu Jitsu teachers. Great videos and explanations. Don't you ever want to do some no gi videos? Thank you for your work.

Holy shit your door analogy makes so much sense and I totally didn’t realize I was just under committing to a lot of escape techniques. Please keep posting these vids, you are a jiu jitsu goldmine. The difference between you and other instructors is they’re so far removed from the white/blue belt mentality and mistakes from either being a black belt a long time or being unable to really put themselves back in our shoes. Thanks again

Unbelievable that Jonathan is giving this kind of information for free. Thank you Jonathan. Too many selfish instructors out there who want to keep this stuff hidden.

nicolas9288 hey buddy in this position when the guy is really low on the hip and I have a strong frame on the head I feel very safe doing this move have never had a problem with the wrist lock. It’s important to make sure you are going for it at the appropriate time. Hope that helps some

hmmm I mean you know your body better than anyone else so I'll probably try to have the best hip escape so I can always turn into the person
