Also, take note he has a controlled eccentric when doing it the second time. If you can't do that, lower the weight, get to whatever allows you to do so. Build from there.

@@rampagesmackssons508 Cheat reps aren’t done to be beneficial. They’re done because you’re tired and lazy. - Everyone can swing their body to get the weight moving. Not everyone can make it to Mr Olympia or world’s strongest man. - If you can’t maintain technique then you need to lower the weight. The only time I wouldn’t go for a full ROM is when doing lengthened partials in the stretched position. - Let your bicep curls go all the way down before curling. Don’t use your back to curl more weight.

Sit on incline seat and lean it back just 110-150 degrees. If sit it up 90 and go all the way down to 180 for those who don’t know degrees very well.

Your delts should grow regardless if you’re progressively overdoing. If you’re going to failure your muscle is being worked just the same. Might not be safest on the joint though.

My side delts don't look that much bigger, but I went from doing 35s to 55s using the second (correct) technique, I can probably do 60s right now, the negative near the top (on the way down) is the most important part of the movement.
