Welcome back Steve, and congratulations on the weight loss. Don't give up, the more you loose the better you'll feel and the more energy you'll have. Something you might consider for the treadmill is to build a simple desk for your laptop. That way you can watch KZitem videos or TV, play games or even edit your vlogs while you walk. Watch a two hour movie, and keep your mind off the walk, you'd be amazed at how the time flies if you're doing something you enjoy while you walk.

Hi Johnny! Thanks! I'm planning to put a TV on the wall that I can watch like at gyms. I've been listening to podcasts while I walk and that helps a lot, so I suspect having video to watch will be even better.

I’m filming my first build video now and I have been wondering how to balance real life with KZitem . I was worried about how it was going to be but I went to some top KZitemrs and watched there early videos and most of them were not good. So I studied how they changed it up to make it better . With you , in your early videos you didn’t smile . Now your overboard happy and it made a huge difference . As much as I would like to see more videos from you , your family and work always comes first. Keep up the good work
@SteveCarmichael

Hi John - It's awesome that you are doing your first video. Can't wait to see it! It is fun to go back and watch someone's older videos. When I started, it was so uncomfortable to do. I remember trying to be like Norm Abram and act serious like I was a real teacher or something, but I was mainly just doing it for my family to watch. I didn't expect anyone else to even find me. Then I noticed other people were watching too and commenting, and I started developing friendships with my viewers, which made it easier for me to just my regular goofy self. Looking back, it is really the relationships with my viewers that has been the best part of doing this and helped me come out of my shell. When I talk to the camera now, I'm actually speaking to people I know so it's easier.

Just wanted to let you know you're not alone, I was blown away when I added up everything I was eating in a day ( roughly 6,000 calories) I've also implemented changes to my lifestyle and have lost some weight. Although I'll always have a bad back, practically all the chronic pain I've had for the past several years is gone.

Hi Fred! Good to hear your chronic pain is gone. I have a whole list of things I want to be able to do again, mostly small stuff, like being able to fit more comfortably in seats, be able to find clothes that fit, etc. The calories were just crazy, even what I thought were healthier choices at restaurants were a lot of calories. I've learned a lot and still learning.
