Thanks for the post! Awesome shots, hoping I can get out there and snag some of my own. Other than good weather are there "better" times to be out waiting for a pass? I've read the weekends are usually dead.

Well things changed after the crash. Sidewinder is massive in area and you could go hike and sit at many different places but just like fishing, you never know what your going to catch. Sadly I dont think Star wars will ever open again so visit sidewinder route and roll your dice

@@RAMBLE_ON, that's what I've been reading and hearing from other people. Unfortunately, I just don't think we are ever going to see low level flying return to Star Wars Canyon because people got injured during that incident in 2019.

@@sorggalder I have been going to Star Wars for years and I believe those days are long gone for the awesome jet pics but I strongly believe its something way beyond a pilot dying and a few French tourist getting some leg scratches. Civilians have died at air shows and the show went on, so what the hell stopped the canyon training ???????????? Sure miss those days

@@RAMBLE_ON good point. Yeah, not sure what stopped it. Glad you were able to find some spots along the sidewinder to catch some jets...very cool you caught them low in that one shot. Keep up the good work!!

What backpack do you use to carry your stuff on a hike?
@RAMBLE_ON

Walmart $38 I have had great use out these backpacks. Last me about 3 years but look at cost. 80L Outdoor Hiking Backpack Camping Rucksack Travel Trekking Day Pack Military Tactical Sport Shoulder Bag Large Capacity Red. I will never pay crazy prices at Academy or REI. Its a waste of money just as over priced hiking shoes.

@@graemeceballos265 Visit to tree should be nice with all the rain lately it should bring snow to mountains. I will visit also. All the points from sidewinder I point out do have activity. Eureka is awesome as long as you climb to the top of dune

Thank you for your videos! Every time I go to that trail between point A and B looking for that ridge, I get lost and further and further away from the river....I'm glad you found that view!

Tip for you, its on the east side of the river. Very easy to hike to. I am surprised that I have not ever seen other pics for that location because there is jet traffic and several spots that are flat to sit and enjoy the view.
