Thanks for watching! Taphul Road has an amazing array of eateries and that’s why we come here on average about six nights a week. The choices in this single street are staggering. There are also three of Siem Reap’s biggest hitters in terms of local food: - Try Me Restaurant: goo.gl/maps/GMDMCGJzUgrkehKE8 - Madam Moch Khmer Restaurant: goo.gl/maps/oYG1poLRgvhCCm7g6 - My Little Cafe: goo.gl/maps/JgDpH7EQ6nbZt7pE7 All of these serve a great mix of Khmer and western food. Prices start at around $1.50 for vegetarian fried rice or vegetarian fresh spring rolls. Most dishes are around $3. You can also get juices, smoothies, 75 cent draft beers, cocktails - really anything that is available on Pub Street is available here, usually it’s better quality and for a lower price. Don’t miss out on this amazing food street when you visit Siem Reap.

My choice…I’d eat at the East tan bul restaurant , love that food , always a treat. I eat salmon raw so I was always wary of the salmon in SR, but in PP my local friend took my to 2 restaurants that had very well priced oysters which we had a number of times., not sure where they were from. What about E bikes? Can they be hired as well?

Yes, they can for the short term, e.g. people hire them to go to the temples. Not sure about longer term, but you could probably do a deal with one of the rental places, particularly in the low season.

I am glad u showed how expensive Cambodia is ….. a regular guest house room is 48 usd … plus a coffe is 6 usd …….. ---I went to Siem reap 6 years ago and was shocked at the short term prices. I stayed 2 months with my partner. Of course I paid to go see the temples. That was 100 usd per person per day plus hiring a ride and a tour guide. Again I was shocked at the prices……… I will say only 1 more thing …. I was 44 when I visited Siem reap,, one of the greatest adventures I have ever done…… not cheap they use USD.

You can get a regular guest house room for around $10 USD and coffee is around $1 USD. The temples can be a bit expensive because of the guide and tuktuk, but so worthwhile to see them that way. Thanks so much for watching!

You can pay in USD and get Riel back or try a few money changers, check XE for the best rate. It is usually pretty close to that rate.

Hi there! We are planning to go to Siem Reap. We have a 5 year old and 18 year old. Just wondering if you can suggest an Airbnb or hotel near this area or area there is lots of street food and a good price pls? Much appreciated hope to hear from you soon!❤

It's hard to say, and at the lower end of the pricing, things can be pretty rough. The Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & Spa is a great option with lots of facilities if you can afford it.

Unfortunately, not everywhere on this street, but I would say Madam Moch and Try Me would be ok as they have wide entries and no step up from the footpath. The problem arises with all the motor, tuktuks, and cars parked everywhere making access harder.

Dumb question, what about toilets in the area or in the shops, if drinking coffee/beer etc it doesn't take long to go through ones system, hate to be walking 5ks back to accommodation busting.etc etc.

Pretty much all the restaurants and cafes have toilets, so it's no problem!
