German tech giant Siemens is investing $290 million to build a new plant in Singapore. This will create more than 400 jobs in areas like advanced manufacturing and finance. The investment is part of $2.9 billion set aside by Siemens to ramp up global production. Siemens' new plant will be in Tuas and be operational in about two years. The firm said the facility will serve the growing demand from markets in Southeast Asia.
