I've been laid off so many time in the hvac world. It doesn't faze me, but the best time to look for a new job is when you don't need one..

Keep on moving forward it wont be any better going to another job down the road. Just put up with the one that you have right now. I moved from one job to another the last twenty years I worked. All it was was a different shop and different people for the most part. Started over with all my benefits every time and that sucked. Yes, better pay with each move but after a while the same old political crap. Each shop has their own politics. I can say each move worked out good and it was worth it in the long run. To flying thanks for posting all your videos. The fling has been great and the footage is awesome. Awesome airplanes and jets. I never have seen that many Panthers fly at one time which was cool. I enjoyed the Super Chipmunk builds and I hope to build one one day. Thanks man.

Some years ago, I built and flew the snot out of the GP Decathlon. I call it, "The Pilot Maker." Snaps and spins galore. And a straight take-off on pavement is an achievement. Let's just say she's "special."

There is just something so compelling about the 1/4 and 1/3 scale Spacewalkers! I have a 40 size with a Saito 82 four stroke. only problem with my 40 size is it loves too do donuts or ground loops on the grass runway. I have too bring the throttle up really slow. humm..... maybe I need a degree or two of right engine offset alignment?

Thanks for the heads up on ultracoat. I have 1/6 scale clipped wing cub on the building table and I was undecided what to cover it with. I think I'll go with ultracoat.

Ultrakote does go around compound curves much easier than monokote but it will keep you busy with your heat gun during the flying season

Love that decathlon ! I have a Goldberg Super Decathlon that earned it's spot as one of my favorite planes but...... elevator servo locked in full up and I have a crunched nose ! Now I have a question ; there is a fellow in Warren Michigan who is trying to sell a Byron Pitts all set up with a quadra 43 cc ? His asking price is low (I think) and yet no takers ! It appears to be a beautiful bird , just thought I'd let you know . If it doesn't sell quickly I am making a trip to Michigan 😁 BTW love your videos and WOW on your hangar ! Have a great day .

I have an intimate relationship with the Great Planes Decathlon. Most fun I've had without breaking the law. A real "pilot maker." (How are your rudder skills?) And 3-D pilots need not apply.

@@richarddarlington1139 this is true! I actually would much rather fly aircraft that do not fly extremely well, I enjoy the challenge it keeps it interesting. I tell all my students they need to have a plane like a Piper Cub so that way using Rudder become second nature

@@n1114v I call it, "The Sportster Syndrome." One of my all-time favorite airplanes (there are many) is the Great Planes Super Sportster 60. This plane has no bad habits whatsoever, to the extent that, after some 300 logged flights, I became bored with it and traded it for an Adjusto Jig. Actually, my favorite type of plane to fly is a pattern ship. Anyone can do a loop, but can you do it well? As a matter of fact, I have set of plans and a short kit for a Bridi Tweedy Bird, a 20-sized version of his Dirty Bird. After some 20 years, my Webra Speed 32 will finally be pressed into service once again. And what is the deal with the Piper Cub? With so many alternatives, Aeroncas, Taylorcrafts (like the one in my icon), Stinsons, and the like, I've never built a Cub. But that's just me, I guess. Well, keep those Maytags and Kenmores flying!
