..and yes. I love my M17 also. A very nice blowback pellet pistol for sure. The DAO trigger can first be a bit tricky feeling - but with some shooting, this one has done very well, for me at least. Still a bit undecided though which I like more...this one, or my X-FIVE ASP.. due me being a major sucker for Sig Sauer X-FIVEs..

I love my X5. That's a tricky comparison. I'll check back because if I haven't done a video on that, i will!

@@airgunreplicas77 The only thing I did not like on my X5 ASP, was the light slide spring. Way loose slide action as original imo - but many of the Sigs seem to have so, if a blowback pellet shooter that is. I took a new slide spring for my X5 ASP from a cheap ASG 1911 spring piston airsoft pistol - which slide spring was for some reason just a bit thicker even though it not even needed to be. The swap was perfect. Almost identical springs - just a slight hint thicker of a spring on the airsoft 1911..

Hi, I have the Sig M17 Co2 Air Pistol and an actual Sig P320 M17 9mm Pistol. Side by side there is very minor aesthetic differences between the 2 pistols. The 2 that stand out are there is no serial # window on the Co2 Air Pistol and there is no “gun Loaded indicator” as there is on the actual 9mm M17. Other than those 2 items that is no differences between the two pistols. I use the Co2 M17 for training purpose in the backyard when I’m not able to get to a shooting range for traget practice or force on force training range for training purposes. I feel no difference in the hand between the 2 pistols. The air pistol is a very good analog to the actual M17 9mm pistol And yes, Hickok45 is a very good channel I enjoy both pistol very much FYI - the US military has change the controls from coyote tan to black. Originally when first issued all the controls were coyote tan but have changed their minds and all M17s now being issues have back controls. Ricky from IBM, Ret

All great points and good to hear the comparison thanks. I love hearing when these replicas are close to the real ‘steel’ as it adds to my enjoyment of the authenticity.

I'm interested in the M17, as well as the Sig P226 and P229, but I like that the slide catch and take down lever are functional. The other two guns do not have this function, but they both have an 8#/4# trigger, whereas the M17 seems to have a constant 6# pull. Also, there is a controversy on the fps being 300 or 380 as advertised, as I see both fps being shown. A number of people are complaining the the M17 has a lot of jams, as well as loosing pressure and shoots low. But I know all of these complaints can be the shooter's ability and quality of the co2 cartridge and pellets they are using. So with that said, what is your take on the overall quality of the M17 now that it is 3 years later.

Does the slide rattle? Thinking about picking one up but i hate the ratteling slide on much pellet shooters..

There is a bit of rattle to the slide, yes. Slight movement at the muzzle end but slightly less towards the rear. Still a lovely pistol though IMO but I get where you're coming from.

@@airgunreplicas77 thanks for the swift reply mate! Ordered one , should take a small week from Spain to Belgium. Added a 1911 we the people to, should give me a good comparison between my umarex guns and the sigs. Love your vids, may I suggest a shooting part to ? You are one of my first go to’s but I always have to look up a second video for a shooting video or power test.

Wow! Powerful work buddy. The WTP is manufactured by KWC on behalf of Umarex and stands out as a quality bb shooter. I get what you mean about shooting in the vids. I tend to go for looks and function over performance which is why I guess I don't do the shooting aspect. Will definitely consider for the future though. Thanks for the feedback and I hope you enjoy the blasters!

Why does all my co2 go out of the top valve of the mag before putting it in the gun? Can someone help?
@airgunreplicas77
2 жыл бұрын
Hmm, not sure mate. I know that when the mag releases, it 'pops' out releasing some of the co2. I wonder if a valve or something is stuck open so that it's purging when you try to load the mag? Not sure about how it all works but that may an area to look at. Also, try Pellgun oil on the co2 to aid the airtight seal and make sure you close the cantilever for the co2 in one confident motion once you feel it about to pierce.After that, I'm out of ideas, sorry mate.

I own this replica airgun. It certainly looks the part, I'll give it that. Everything else is a letdown. From the awfully notchy trigger to the useless slide that doesn't do anything, to the very low FPS (absolutely not the advertised 430 FPS on the packaging), to the way the magazine is designed making you lose a little precious CO2 gas each time you remove it because the valve is actually inside the frame instead of on the magazine, like almost every other airgun out there. This feels like a cheap toy, I'm very sorry to say. Nothing to do with any of my other 15 CO2 airguns in my small collection. But it costs the same, which is ridiculous. Thanks for sharing this honest review of it nonetheless.
