thanks for a great comparison.. I just bought the Sig and had considered the hellcat, but as you stated the grip for my hands it came down to the sig. I had laid out the hellcat and 43x the sig and a couple of other pistols. The sig just felt better and yes the extra $$ was tough and buy once cry once. I really was not going for max capacity but fit in my hands won out. I also considered carry, I have been carrying a short time and went from a G-19 and was headed toward the G-43x. Until I tried the Sig.. I am looking for a better holster now but so far I dont print at all and I am a normal sized guy and some pistol's/holster's just hung out there on me.. I purchase firearms as needed, not just to have the best or newest farkly gun. I could care less what everyone else carries and video's like this helped me considerably. For the price and the reliability you can’t not go with the Hellcat Pro. Sigs are good but they have had reliability issues with their p320s and their p365s and that scares people. Their pricing is crazy not only for their guns but their magazines too! The value you get with SA gear up promotion plus the reliability is just the better choice in my opinion. Watch KZitem reviews on the Hellcat Pro. They are running thousands of rounds no issues no malfunctions. I just can’t trust Sigs right now with their previous trouble. Not for those prices! This is the comment I've been looking for doing my research into the modularity between the micro & macro. Looking for a summer gun & going micro, the Hellcat was at the top of my list before I started looking into them, tried my friend's Pro out, trigger felt more than 5lbs, wasn't a fan of it, but Apex has an upgrade for under $100. Just looked at a basic macro yesterday & was blown away that it was basically a mini G17 about the size of a trimmed down G19, & out of all the micros I could check out the macro just felt the best in my hand. That being said, I'm 90% leaning towards the micro for summer, 100% on picking up the macro shortly after. Thanks for the valuable info that google & forums where I couldn't find a definitive answer.

I really wanted the Hellcat Pro and was excited to try it. I went to the range and got to rent/shoot 9 similar conceal weapons, with the Hellcat being the last. By the time I got to shoot it, it was really uncomfortable. I could tell right away that it was like holding a squared off grip. The back of the hellcat is very boxy and you really feel it with the recoil. I was disappointed but then found the X Macro and it is so comfortable, I could shoot it all day. I have nothing against the Hellcat, I love Springfield, but this review was perfect and the final statement about it coming down to how it fits your hand is spot on. Skip the macro and get the X or the XL then buy the 17rd mag and the macro grip module. The slide on the macro moved the optic cut forward closer to the ejection port so if you ever put a red dot on it, it'll get dirty and cloudy instantly. Fort the past few weeks I've been shooting both regularly(2x-3x/week). Neither grip prevents slippage after tens of rounds, which surprised me. I put over 1000 rounds through the XMacro before I cleaned it - no issues. (No issues with either gun) I place follow-up shots much better with the XMacro. The comfort and the confidence of knowing those follow-ups will be better seals the deal for me. 17 rounds is a bonus. I have added a 507K to the XMacro, and Talon grips just this past week. Great comparison video. I would have loved to see an XL Spectre Comp thrown in there too. If price is enough of a deal killer that people will choose the Hellcat Pro over the X Macro, then they probably will go into terminal sticker shock over the Spectre, but it's a convenient way to get several useful upgrades at once. Also, I like that the XL grip will accommodate a 12 round flush mag, as opposed to the X Macro where it's 17 rounds or nothing. You can probably buy a standard XL and get the benefits of the Spectre Comp for less money by just upgrading parts, if you like to tinker with your firearms, but not everyone does. Bottom line is, your carry gun should be something you like to shoot, or you won't train with it enough to get good with it.

I just purchased the Hellcat Pro Package with 5 mags and a Range Bag for $499.00 at Academy Sports. Since the mags alone sell for $40+ each I couldn't pass on the deal. If anyone is interested, you can still order at that price and have it delivered to a store near you. My daily carry pistol has been the P365 Micro with 12 round mags for a very long time. I'm a big man so I can carry larger pistols concealed with no problem, but still prefer lighter pistols for comfort. The larger mags allow me a better grip on the pistol. I love my P365 and have no doubt I'd love the X Macro but haven't had an opportunity to fire one. I'm looking forward to shooting the Hellcat Pro after Christmas and have already ordered a tactical holster for it so I may begin carrying it daily if I feel comfortable with it. P365 and P320 FCU's are different, the 365 had an issue with MIM strikers breaking initially but other than that the only issue I've seen recently was a lemon that wouldn't fire on trigger press but instead you had to pull the trigger and then shake the gun. I know multiple owners of the P365 with thousands of rounds through them and no problem, I haven't had that kinda budget but I have a few hundred and plenty of time IWB and it's been great. A good holster and a brain are your main safeties anyway. But if you're that concerned you have an option for a manual safety. The HS Produkt H11 (the gun you referred to) can still have an ND if you aren't careful.

The grip is on the thinner side, obviously but my issue with it is the top side doesn't any stippling so I'll need to get it stipple or swap it out for a wilson once they get back in stock. 2. The mags are about 60 bucks, ridiculous considering I regularly buy glock mags for 20 bucks. 3. OWB it prints a bit more than my g17 which is weird. I don't like iwb since i spend a lot time in the car. 4. I think comp works great, it really shows during rapid fire with +p 5. The trigger is a bit mushy but not horrible I may pick up a hellcat pro, i rented on at the range and didn't find it too snappy. For a factory trigger I liked it once i found my finger placement. I'm between a hellcat pro and a 365 spectre comp for a spring/summer. I'll save my xmacro for fall and winter. All that being said i find myself going back to my g26.4 a lot, no rds or light but with ameriglo orange dot I pick it up quickly. Out of all my glocks i shoot my 26 the best. It's super easy to conceal and I forget its there with just a t-shirt. Love your videos, keep it up

I carry the pro and I’m happy with it. I have the 365 and the 365XL. I will pass on the Macro. I hate the angle of the trigger. With my big hands, it’s a wrap when I’m wearing gloves. The price is too much. When you add a holster and a red dot. You are looking at eleven hundred dollars.

With that XL slide you can get the grip module and then have it without the comp.

A pew pew is a tool to prolong or save my life, I will not be choosing based on price. I will invest the time to do my own comparison, but I admit I am happy with the Sig's grip angle. I own a P220 and P365. Your review was brilliant, thanks.

I see a lot of comments on here regarding price point. I think price point should be in the middle or bottom of the list for reasons to buy a gun. My second job is one of someone who works in a gun store, and I can promise you that our used guns consist mainly of Ruger's and springfields. There is a difference in what you can afford and what you're willing to spend. And I believe that you get what you pay for. The 365 XL has been my concealed carry for the longest until I bought the hellcat, and I promptly got rid of that and went back to Sig. Specifically, the macro. I can justify spending less money on a gun that is just as good, but I will never be able to justify spending less money on a lesser product. Money is the reason I don't have something-but it isn't ever the reason I won't have something.

Money is a huge consideration when its a difference of 150-300.. It shouldn't be the main driver but many cannot make the jump to a 800 pistol in the way of the macro. I am not in the tank for one or the other but I do think the sig is far over priced

I love my 365 XL MACRO SPECTRE COMP! I caught 10% off at Bass Pro, the reason I jumped on it.
