Thanks so much Ian :) Gets harder each year to find a new way to look at photography up here, but this F1.4 ultra-wide was a winner for me.

Great video and channel! I'm living in Abisko here in the north since a couple of years, upgrading skills and equipments for every season. For the next winter I will probably get this lens, your video made me even more curious. For now I have been using the Lumix S 18mm F1.8, and on occasions of strong auroras also the Lumix S 14-28 F4. Keep up the great content, I'm happy to have found your channel.

Welcome to the channel John and lovely to hear from someone in Abisko :) I love that part of Sweden and have many fond memories of auroras up on the mountain and down on the lake. You're so lucky to make that your home.

I haven't tried the Lumix 14-28mm F4 myself, how do you like it for landscape work in the daytime? That 18mm is a peach though isn't it!

How Sigma 20mm f1.4 compare new 14mm?
@EwenBell

Very different in practice even though they look very similar on the outside. The 20mm was a DSLR design and this newer 14mm is for mirrorless. But if you only need 20mm then it's a cracking good lens! I have the Sigma 20mm F2 as well and that's such a nice lightweight option of you don't need F1.4.

Could i fit this to a Leica m-11 (obviously in manual mode)?

I doubt that's possible. You can adapt M lenses to an L-mount camera but not the other way around. Sorry!
