Great video. I really love 5his lens but I hate the tripod foot. I'll be ordering one of these. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for the video. That foot looks too short to get the lens balanced, especially when at 600mm. Is that correct? If so, I wonder if the larger KLP-625 universal would be a better fit.

A longer plate would probably be better on the setup in the video for sure, and the KLP-625 would be a great fit as it comes with the silver anti-twist block. Shooting photos on the gimbal head in a hunting blind though, I didn't really find the imbalance to be to bad at 600mm as I still used the viewfinder and not the back screen. Though I have since sold my Benro Gimbal head and bought a Manfrotto 504X Fluid Head. It came with a longer plate that I attach the 150-600C using the same KLP plate in this video to keep it from twisting as well. On the fluid head for video, it has been paramount being able to slide the camera/lens forward/back finding the right balance. Of course now I'm also looking at lens support rails haha. It never ends.. Honestly I cant wait for Nikon to release their 200-600 for Z mount this year and praying it comes with two screw holes so its easier to swap lenses on Manfrotto's proprietary dovetail design.

@@MannsWoodlandPerspective I got the KLP-625 and it works wonderfully. It is paired with a Wimberley MH-100 MonoGimbal Head and I can get everything in perfect balance.
