The way that you can know that Alistair Begg is preaching the honest ‘Word of God’.....is the fact that he freely uses the Word of God. His use of scripture , word by word and line by line, is the only way to share the Gospel . People who use scriptures without sharing the context of the scripture are dangerous. They often use the sole, scripture out of context to support a feeling. Mr. Begg is obviously a true man of God, in the evidence of how he uses God’s Word with deep respect, and always in context. If you are a new Christian looking for deeper understanding of scripture Alistair is a safe source for advanced learning...:)

Excellent message, Pastor Begg. Your sermons always uplift me and I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. Your presentation of the Gospel and the way in which you speak so humbly and confidently shows your solid faith and love for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Like Mr Begg I hail from Scotland, I have listened many times and been blessed by his sermons; However of late I have discovered and been listening to pastor Jacob Prasch; when it comes to sermons on "End Times" in particular, this man is surely blessed of God, a man of the moment so to speak. His knowledge of ancient Greek of Hebrew, he is a converted Jew, brings a depth of learning that is sorely sorely needed in 2017. I sincerely recommend you look him up on youtube brothers and sisters in The Lord. Gods' Blessing on all.

@ if every one was a good Berean there would be less problems and division in The Masters Church. As for Jacob Prasch, he has his critics, he has been called a ‘spiritual pugilist’ This title whilst a little unkind, does in many ways describe Jacob. He after many of his talks, which have been spot on spiritually, for me get a bit ruined when at the end he sends out this “Scatter Gun Approach” challenging various brothers whom are teachers, ‘To come meet with him and debate in front of cameras” This approach lacks any kind of love. Believing you can catch more with honey than vinegar, surely the ‘brotherly’ approach would be more along the lines. “My dear brother/sister we have a fundamentally differing take on scripture, can we meet up exchange views in love all in the hope that The Body of Christ is built up. Jacob’s default is as a ‘brash New Yorker, so maybe it’s hard for him to change. But for my money, Jacob isn’t a pastor, but he is a helluva bible teacher. Just when listening, like we should do with all well known teachers, Be a Good Berean. That way we are less likely to disappoint The Lord

The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, or, rejecting Christ and the indwelling of His Spirit. Suicide is forgivable, but I would strongly caution against that: God has a plan for EVERY person on earth, and life will soon be over anyway. See what He has for you! Suicide is a sin (murder), and it is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Look up the man who jumped from the Golden Gate bridge, and survived. Seconds after his hands left the rail, he felt dire regret. Thank God he survived. Make sure you are saved, get in God's word, and get to a group of believers or a church that preaches God's full word, and have them pray over you. Many times the urge to kill oneself is a temptation from satan, who comes to steal, kill and destroy. Christ came that we may have life and have it to the full. GOD LOVES YOU!

Just one thing wrong he said - Jesus was laid in a tomb owned by an Israelite -Joseph of Arimathea, a member of the Jewish Sanhedrin. Jesus was NEVER laid in a "Palestinian" tomb because the word "Palestine" did not exist during His time -it was created by the British in 1920. Israel is NOT Palestine - I hope Pastor Alistair Begg you will check your records first.

AbiGail1949 I think if you check further, it was first named Palestine by the Roman Government because they wanted to erase the name of Israel off the face of the earth. This may be why so many Bible maps incorrectly identify Israel as Palestine.

If you repent ( turn from all sin)and believe in the deity of Jesus and in his sinless birth, life, death and resurrection. He who created the universe can surely forgive save one sinner who repents. Even those who don't murder need salvation just as much. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". ALL

I was hoping to find you. I do hope you will take the time to read. Hang on this will be long. Anthony Lyons, see the reply, mentions Paul/Saul you can find his story in the Book of Acts 22. Cain kills Abel. Genesis 4. King Herod and John the Baptist. KJV, chapter 14 in Matthew. Pharaoh kills babies. Exodus 1. Judith and Holofernes. The Catholic Bible has a chapter named Judith. King James Version may have this also. Jehu murders Jezebel. 2 Kings 9. Jehu slaughters the royal children. 2 Kings 10. The Levite’s Concubine. Judges 10. Jael and Sisera, Judges 4 and 5. Ehud assassinates Eglon. Judges 3. The death of Absalom. 2 Samuel 18. King David. 2 Samuel 11. King David has written most of the Psalms. I would encourage you to read and study your Bible. So many people say to you repent and believe. Are you asking "How do I believe and repent"? Read, study, your Bible and keep listening here. I learned a lot from Macarthur, Washer, and many more. Pick a sermon. Turn on the closed caption, Have paper and pen next to you and put the arrow on pause. Write down what speaks to you. Make notes in your Bible. John Bunyan - The Pilgrim's Progress is a must read. If you can, buy a copy.
