I got a chance to talk to my dad about his absence, and what he revealed to me is what you’ve said in this video. I now see that my mother was controlling/manipulative. Ruined my childhood. But, I’m 25, and I don’t believe it’s too late for me. Thank you for your video.

Do you have a relationship with your dad? Do you resent him for your childhood?

@@larmovement not true in all situations. Child support incorporates both incomes and eaxh party is responsible for a percentage depending on net income of both parties. I am a mom and I am responsible for 75% of childrens expenses. We need to have real solutions not rhetoric, real conversations. Sometimes we pick bad moms and bad dads. Familywizard.com. and ourtalkingparents.com in addition to parallel parenting my be next best option.

Co parenting is the best solution but if not possible parallel parenting is the next best option. Both parents can talk to teachers without the other parent. Both parents can access MD records etc without the other parents. In reality good baby mommas get bad baby daddies and good baby daddies get bad baby mommas. I would invite a real conversation on how to come up with solutions

I hear what you are saying. The mom is always blamed for what he does. We are told, well you let the child go over there, this is who you chose to have a kid with, etc. If the kid never gets hurt then its not, but if there ever do, if they say the dont like something over there (in kid view and speak) we are required to act. I just wanted to meet the new chick so I can justify what the child might have seen or what she would do vs not do bc I will always be required to answer. I wish I didnt have to do that but he changed from the person I thought I had a kid with. Not an excuse but explaining the thought process. Not based on me liking her personality, per se. That's his job, I dont bring certain types of people around my kid and I would let him meet a guy I was dating. It's only right. Imo.
