This song seems to have a strong connection with Everything Was Sound. Garrett also heavily implies noise as a division, more of like the chaotic nature society has like politics, crime, and many controversial things. Since there are no footnotes, this is more of Garrett saying that he doesn't know what to do with this knowledge of chaoticness in the world and he can't stop knowing it. I also believe Garrett is implying three songs or albums on how they're connected, in other words, what he's felt through these certain albums into one song
@sacredxgeometry
4 жыл бұрын
It's more or less a combination (or rather a _culmination_) of what he has learned from the last 3 albums being released, yeah... when the world goes dark and you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, everything becomes static. That's what it was probably like for him during his time in the ward and his desire to break away from it ("there's nothing human in this room of white").

the Most important band I have had the pleasure of discovering, it's been a real saving grace having a band speak to my soul as well as these boys do, they've got me through some of the darkest times in my life before I was saved, for 8 years I was living the epitome of a meaningless, bottomless, empty life with no real purpose, a slave to his DNA, a cosmic mistake just floating along a cosm of nothingness understanding our fate as we waited to fizzle out and die, a void in my soul as deep and black as the observable universe itself waiting for the inevitable end as we tried to fabricate some type of meaning or purpose for our lives where I could find none, truly I tell you, I saw my death and lived it everyday for most of that period. here to tell the world that isn't true for me anymore, I'm getting batpized today and letting the world know that the Great Lord Jesus Christ still saves, and if what I said above at all you can relate to, just know that it isn't true, I lived that existence and came back, so can you. Godbless.
@SuicidalChocolateSK

Religion is used to fill the void within people who need purpose and couldn't find it. Im not religious, but it's easy to fall into religion when you wander existentially, it's the easy way out. It's comfort in a dark hole. It's the water in the desert, but ends up a mirage. I used to be religious for years, but only when I started questioning why was when i figured out that no one will save me, or you. My purpose is to help people, I didn't need a god to tell me that. I hope you find what you're looking for. For the right reason.

I remember when my boy showed me this band back in 2016, and next year we went to Warped Tour and Silent Planet was playing. Nobody really knew them so that stage was kind of empty. I shit you not, literally every single person that walked by that heard them stopped and by the time their set was done it was like the way people gathered for a headliner, they had such applause and fucking killed the show. Years later, (2019) I move to West Palm Beach and see them again in Fort Lauderdale, and nobody clapped at the beginning or anything as nobody knew who they were. They came out with "Panic Room" and peoples phones lit up as you can see everyone was like "YO HOW THE FUCK WE DONT KNOW THEM" and it was my 3rd time seeing them. Just as amazing as the first. Garrett is truly on point as the rest of the band when it comes to playing live. Absolutely worth seeing them in person from the time they started to now. And this song fucking destroys nonetheless
