Yes, but Christoph Waltz in Inglorious Bastards comes close to or equal to Ralph Fiennes imo in his portrayal of an SS commander despite the former being fictional. Eerily enough the actor Christop Waltz comes from Vienna Austria like the real Amon Göth (played by Ralph Fiennes).

He was definitely attached to Schindler. I got the impression that his relationship to Schindler was his only connection to “normalcy“. A little tiny flicker in him wanted to be normal. Wanted not to be evil. It’s a pity that SO many men and women in the Nazi regime gave themselves over to evil… Completely sold out to evil. I am suddenly reminded of the scripture, “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his soul?”

As horrific a human as Goeth is at the very least at least he has a sense of humor whilst his leaders have no humor in their DNA 🧬 at all 😮…. Ralph Fiennes performed in three movies that received Best Picture Oscars: 3. "The Hurt Locker" (2009) 2. "The English Patient" (1996) 1. "Schindler's List" Ralph Fiennes was nominated for for "Schindler's List" and "The English Patient". He did not receive an Academy Award for one or both films. I hope the Academy Awards gives him an Honorary Oscar someday, to make up for missed awards.

He has succeeded in BECOMING the person he's portraying. His mannerisms, & eye movements...(cold stare; thoughtful glances; hesitating. (When you suddenly remember U left the oven on & U R miles away..) He NAILS those tiny, subconscious reactions & ticks making every one of us unique!! Oh, yea..& DAMN, HE'S 🔥🥰. TOM HARDY is another amazing talent. There are scenes from Peaky Blinders I've watched many times over, SMH in AWE.~ Reminds me of actors of yrs past. Men & Women were diff. back then..The women had class,& carried themselves w/ an heir of grace. They were LADIES.✨ And the men?.... were GENTLEMEN.🎩 Black & White films were the best. @@airdusterenjoyer Interesting choice of words. Real being the mass detention, abuse, and murder of millions of Jews, yes. Certain characters and events are also historical fact, others are composites for the sake of conciseness within the medium. Anybody trying to decry Schindler's List because it's not a documentary is a) stupid b) probably a Holocaust denier. No 'probably' in some cases.

My father used to say "a killer is a killer". The man is not a Nazi, he is a psychopath and serial killer who became a Nazi in order to kill freely. The fact that they were Jews is an excuse...not a reason.
