This is such a good idea!!! I REALLY like the idea of a fabric design more than heat transfer vinyl. I think it would have a nicer feel to it. Great video ❤

Thank you @AvantiMorocha for the wonderful video and instructions! My fabric cut very well. I did have to spray my mat with temporary adhesive since my mat did not hold the fabric very well. Thanx again!

Thank you very much. I think that using the heat n bond looks quicker and easier than the spray stabilisers.

I’m wanting something that cuts multiple things like Cricut does, wood, engraves , embosses etc but Cricut doesn’t cut as big as silhoutte. Can the cameo 4 plus do that?
@AvantiMorocha1

Hi, they have similar tools, but I won’t recommend any of them for wood or engraving, if you want to do this kind of jobs you need a laser machine.

Hi! What is the maximums isze of fabric we can put in and is there bigger available? Thanks :)

Hi, for Cameo 4 it's going to be 12" x 24" and you need to use the mat that match that size. Cameo Plus and Cameo Pro are a little bigger.

Instead of the cricut can I use an iron? Would I have to be more careful with it?
@AvantiMorocha1

Hi, yes, you can use a iron. The process to attach the fabric to the t-shirts may take you a little longer when using and iron.

Thanks for showing the cutting process! Still I'm being a bit of party pooper here (sorry): Heat and bond interfacing is not made to just stick, it is made to help stick fabric to other fabric so that you can satin sitch it to the other fabric. To make it permanent you will have to sew over it in some way (preferably satin stitch with a woven fabric like this because it frays otherwise, felt and such work with normal topstitching). This doesn't work (well) with a bought Shirt, and especially not with a stretchy one, since it stretches underneath the stiff non-stretch woven fabric and wiggles itself free from the glue. This method will most like not work in the longrun for most Shirts. It's however a good method to prepare appliqués for sewing them on.

Does the adhesive make impermeable? Breathable?
@AvantiMorocha1
4 жыл бұрын
Hi, it does it in some way, but your only applying it to one area of the t-shirt. The light heat bond is more breathable than the ultrahold.
