I have a Fit. When I first took my mom for a ride in it and she heard the horn her words were "well that's not a manly horn". I understand the need. This is a 2015 Fit too. Funny story, from what i've heard they where gonna call this car Fit in Norway too but if you where to say something like: "i'm picking you up my Fit" in Norwegian you would most likely say "Fitta", it's just the way the language work, hard to explain but anyways that would be translated to " I'm picking you up in my pussy" (as in snatch). Mr. Regular, I had a 2009 Fit Sport and also had my first condenser beaten to absolute hell and back, like yours. After installing a new one, I found a cheap plastic mesh grille/net designed for the fit that simply zip-ties in place flush with the too-widely-spaced bumper grille (thanks, Honda) and it really helped keep rocks and debris from damaging the new one. I think I spent maybe $20 on it?

I feel your pain on the horn. Honda tends to make the weediest sounding OE horns. My 2005 GD1 Jazz (similar to Silicone Sally) eventually got a Stebel TM80 Magnum, then a Bosch Windtone fanfare horn when the Magnum shorted out from floodwater. Both were a huge improvement on the OE horn, especially the Magnum.

My car is usually the winner of wimpy horn comparisons, even versus Hondas or VW's (Which also have pretty lame horns) How? Most car horns are dual-tone, so it doesn't get toned out by engine noise as easily. My car horn has one of the two tones broken: the low one that actually makes the horn sound aggressive. I just avoid honking whenever possible. :\
