That song's success kinda ruined him tbh. Tarantula wasn't a bad album but didn't have the same success so he lost his original focus and tried to come back with another terrible dance song "oochie pop" before he got locked up. Stupid idea because he was never going to top shake ya ass anyway. He went back on his own words "never gon change my style, never gon bounce (create bounce music like the early cash money records), never gon bow" (referring to u.n.l.v. eddie bow song/dance).
