I've never played and will in all likelihood never play more than a few hours of any Zelda game other than OoT (which conversely is one of the pillars of nostalgia holding up my teenage years, go figure). So a lot of the references to the little details of TWW didn't really resonate with me as such, but you explain enough to understand things as a critique of a game's design even if one isn't initially too familiar with the game in question, so very good job Also I'm hungry now.

Hey a cool idea for more treasure to find could be maybe we find treasures/artefacts from the land beneath the sea. E.g. maybe depending where the treasure chart takes us we fish up items that relate to that area, like maybe if the chart takes you to the Tower of the Gods you fish up the Ocarina of Time, or one of the old Sacred Stones if you're near where Lake Hylia, Death Mountain, Kokiri Forest would have been, or the Bigoron Sword, maybe even a piece of the Mirror of Twilight. And maybe this can unlock a museum of sorts where an NPC makes up stories about the artefacts that are almost correct bit slightly off in some small but slap-stick way. E.g. 'this Ocarina is said to control the flow of time, rumour has it that once a child got ahold of it and used it to terrorise an old village with eternal rain. He drove the people to madness so they locked him down a well.' Or 'it is said this mask once belonged to an eccentric salesman who used it to fight an evil forest monster after he pranked a helpless town one too many times.' You know, dumb things like that. Ultimately there is nothing of value from this other than being a fun little Easter Egg gallery quest. Heck maybe the chests we fish up have a puzzle on them to solve too. Maybe even the treasure charts can have puzzles on them too that the pirates and Aryl can help you with.

This has bothered me since I was a kid. Where does everyone go at night on Windfall?? There's literally one house on the entire island. Night falls and everyone disappears. There're no homes, no farms, no crops. How is anyone alive?
@babblewithjam

this makes me think of how Loot travels to windfall just to hangout in the cafe all night. like he runs the boating course during the day, when does he sleep. where is his boat. the housing situation here is definitely stranger than some of the other zelda titles.
