This cartoon is still a masterpiece, and it was included on the 16-LP boxed set called the "Silly Symphony Collection" where it featured the complete soundtracks along with dialogue and sound effects from all of the cartoons. As for this cartoon, even by 1929 standards, it's still a test of time. The music for this cartoon was done by Carl Stalling, and that was 7 years before he joined WB for the music for all of the "Looney Tunes" and "Merrie Melodies' series. Prior to joined WB, he did the music for early Disney cartoons with Mickey Mouse along with the first of many "Silly Symphony" cartoons, and then he also did the music for Flip the Frog, Willie Whopper and the ComiColor cartoons under Ub Iwerks until 1936. Carl Stalling was the master of genius.

The *20th century* was a decade that began on January 1, 1901, and ended on December 31, 2000. The *193rd decade* was a decade that began on January 1, 1921, and ended on December 31, 1930.

So according to Disney, skeletons awake in the middle of the night, dance, and then go to sleep again, and that's for the rest of the eternity, meaning THE RIDE NEVER ENDS?

When you think that I am far too young to remember the time in which this was made, and that I still enjoy this, knowing that when I ever get great-grand-children they will very likely love this too, it's clear how brilliant these shorts are. I always hate it when people speak of the "good-old-days", but for these shorts I make an exception. This is not only funny, but also a form or art in its purest form.
