How do you guys rig the double beads set up? Hook on each bead or just the 1 hook at the end of the leader line? Thanks

@@NiagaraFishing. Lund Pro V tiller. You went right by me when I was battling a large leaping steelhead near the spillway. I fished the bar most of the day. Landed 4 species out there

Glad to see that you are making videos again on the Niagara - especially Fort Niagara. Very well done. How about a video on your favorite setups and baits for drift and shore fishing on the lower Niagara?

I believe it. I went yesterday evening and there was like 5. Luckily I have some back up options for when the main drifts get packed.

How many weights of lead do you use?
@NiagaraFishing.

Just one. It’s usually a 1 oz pencil sinkers. The lighter the better so you don’t get as many snags!

You do know that unmatured kings will follow the mature kings into the mouth where you are it’s not uncommon to get tons of freshwater kings in the body of water. You’re in even the young ones will follow the mature ones in so far.

Yeah I’ve caught lots of kings at the fort drift even through December. This one was colored up and ready to spawn. Usually in late November you’re gonna catch 50 browns before hooking one. That’s why we were surprised.

No, not really it’s not rare to catch them in there. We have several times while we’re Brown fishing and stuff. We’ve gotten lots in there when we get browns, you’ll get the odd king here in there me and my boy.
