he is so fucking into it. Makes a listener appreciate it so much more. Overall, the band is phenomenal. Never dove into em before, first time digging in deep. They're so well put together, my only regurt is not digging into them sooner. They're revitalizing something inside of me that's felt dead for so long. Finding it ironic I was typing that as he was singing "rotting away". Can totally imagine him singing "bringing the dead back to life". I'm ashamed of not listening to them more sooner. Fucking badass band.

We are ready for the siege We are armed up to the teeth Be careful how you live and breathe Release what's broken underneath How many times do you wanna die? How many ways do you wanna die? Do you feel safe again? Look over your shoulder Very carefully look over your shoulder We can laugh about it now We hope everything works out Be careful how you lick your wounds Believe that change is coming soon How many times do you wanna die? How many ways do you wanna die? Do you feel safe again? Look over your shoulder Very carefully look over your shoulder You used to do a little, but a little won't fly Right before you hit your prime That's when we fell in love, but not the first time Can I please you still? Remain in your father's will Or does it make you ill? Let us bruise their knees We went in straight for a defeat You will be relieved So relieved, so relieved to the flow, and desire Bitter sparks to the friendly fire Misery inspires Your throwin' me cuts several times before Never noticed the size of the flow Make it be ignored Do you feel safe again? Look over your shoulder Carefully look over your shoulder You said you believe, but believing won't fly Right before you hit your prime That's when we fell in love, but not the first time And when it's all over and you open your eyes You see the room turned on its side And you'll be lying down and over on the floor; signed, The Royal We [Repeats: x8] Love The Royal We

I heard this about this group accidently on XM radio with the pulsating "Last Dance" and I didnt quite get the name of the band at first searched for an hour on KZitem....knew there was a "sun" in their name and finally found it! Im a lot lot older than most of you...68 yrs young...but have been around music all my life...love old delta blues from Elmore James, Robert Johnson to Buddy Guy and the great talent at Chess Records in Chicago back in to 1950s-60s....Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf (whom I both met in person at small clubs in NYC....Sonny Boy Williamson..etc etc...the Stones brought it all back to the USA. This band has talent...I have worked in a recording studio years ago and they are legit. Love the Last Dance harmony and didnt the male singer was male....but still great stuff. Remember music is an art form....its an expression of feelings and never look down on ANY form of music...disco, big band or jazz...country....its all expressions.

Look over your shoulder Carefully look over your shoulder You said you believe, but believing won't fly Right before you hit your prime That's when we fell in love, but not the first time And when it's all over and you open your eyes You see the room turned on it's side And you'll be lying down and over on the floor; signed, The Royal We (x8) Love The Royal We

"You're throat has been cut several times before. Never noticed the size of the flow. Make it be ignored." "And when it's all over you open your eyes, You see the room turned on it's side, And you'll be lying by the note on the floor, signed..........The Royal We." Other than that, you got it.

Methinks its about paranoia, so the fortification on the head crumbling apart and the shaddowy figures running at you makes sense- talking in the 'royal we', as in the government speaking for all of its people- 'its us against them'

+Kenneth Myers I think you're right now that I listen to it, I used to think this song was hinting towards reincarnation. The royal blood is sacred and these lovers speak of feeling as though they had been past lovers as past kings and queens. Trippy for them not to be able to recall any of it, but the old tree with the heart carved in it sent a signal that triggered the idea they had written it before, long ago. That's where they fell in love, but not the first time. It's scary to think everything is gone once you die and that there's no way you'll ever come back the same, or even at all. It's comforting to know that there may be a chance history will repeat itself using the same souls and that possibly we are destined to cycle through time in such a way. I'm way too high rn though, thinking about weird shit again..

I just discovered them this year and am sad I missed all their early years. But got to see them live and was blown away. So happy they are still around.

I have recently discovered this band, and I have to say, listening to it on my ipod, I loved this song the second I heard it. So, watching the song on KZitem is where I fell in love but not the first time (with the song)? *sorry attempt of a joke*

This song is up there with the best songs out there that aren't iconic such as in the air tonight by phil collins and pepper by the butthole surfers

My first real "Love" had someone cut her throat at age 16. She and I dated from 17 till 26 and in that time we fell in & out of love with each other like 3X and given the ages we were I feel as if we started dating right before we'd hit our "Prime" as it were. So the second half of this song really reminds me of her & us during that time of my life.
