Cities Skylines’s traffic simulation is very flawed too but at least it’s better than that! In CS though you usually get a massive queue of traffic using a super congested motorway when there’s a totally non congested more direct route that they won’t use because the motorway is 60mph rather than 40mph even though due to traffic they’ll never get to that speed…

There was also Cities XL (?) a few years earlier (around 2010?). Might be the rebranded name they sold it under the second time. That was a real online city builder where import and export happening on the global market (exclusively player driven economy) and where cities competed for "wonder" blueprints. Never played it though because it was reported to be quite buggy and lacking lots of features (public transportation, etc) As for all the Skylines hype I must say that I found it less of a game/sim and more a sandbox. It is almost impossible to not have you city make some money which means that there is no challenge other than making you city look pretty or not getting bored while running for half and hour on max speed to get the money to expand. Oh and I hate that new design philosophy that stuff gets unlocked based on "milestones". Liked the old school titles much more where things are balanced economically instead of gated arbitrarily.

@ Nullik It is not the only thing. simcity had much more micro management and in that area, city skylines lack...a lot. Look what the industrial chains could do. Tourism was a amazing thing in simcity, while in city skylines is pretty lacking. What city skylines really does good is services and utilities better then simcity, water, electricity, roads, specially roads management and options, transportation, city skylines does it much better. I really enjoyed the management of things in the industrial and tourism side of simcity, it was much more fun developing your own "Las Vegas". I would like to elaborate more about Cities:Skylines and SimCity 2013. I have spend lots of hours to play Cities Skylines with multiple expansion packs especially the Green Cities. I always wanted to build an 100% ecofriendly metropolis, so the early game was a hectic mess, however once I lowered my budget spending on every areas except education and carefully raising taxes, everything was easy on mid game onwards, then everything is a push over during late game. I have finally built the exact ecofriendly high tech metropolis I always dream of. As for Sim City 2013, I had successfully built similar ecofriendly high tech metropolis as well, however the game was hard from the beginning until the late game even on sandbox mode! You have limited space to build stuff, and you have to develop other region so you can actually solve the problems, on the other hand I have to play around with the future technologies and building great works so the problems can be solved. I had to solved public order problems and budgetry problems, to increase happiness, I had to build lots of futuristic buildings in the long run. In the late game, I had water issue, so I have to build Academy to produce the wireless network in order to let the water filtration systems to work normally, then you have to build maglev trains to reduce the traffic issues that thing also requires wireless network as well. To get more people to work, I was forced to spend lots of $$$$$$$$ to build megatowers because there's little room to expand, by then everything was alright. One thing about Sim City 2013, is every human being and objects has it's own sound effects. Sim City 2013 is a real challenge, for that reason, I had lots of fun playing Sim City 2013 than Cities Skylines. In the nutshell, Cities Skyline is good for unleashing creativity and fulfilling desires to construct the dream city as I wanted to do so. Sim Cities 2013 is good for challenging your management abilities and experiencing the lively atmosphere.

I wanted SO BADLY to like this game. I was addicted to SimCity 4 and a new SimCity seemed like a dream come true. And...there were things to genuinely like about the game, but only when you got past everything that was wrong with it. And in the end, the most crucial flaws, like city size, just could not be ignored forever. More to the point, the general attitude of, "We don't need to listen to the players; we know what's best for our game..." I mean, to some degree, mob rule just doesn't work for game design, and I get that, and even defended it to a point. But when **everyone** is telling you, "Dude, what's with the tiny cities?" and telling you your whole simulation model is kind of broken, maybe you ought to fess up and fix it! *deep breath* It's taken me a while to actually learn to love Cities: Skylines, as much as everyone pointed to that as the true SC4 successor. I realized only just recently that a lot of it was I was playing on older hardware that was just...clunky for most modern games. On my new machine, it's smooth, and I'm much happier with it and finally see why everyone else was as well.

SimCity was not a bad game. It was a game with a lot of limitations. Comparing the two of them (we always end up comparing it with City Skylines), in my honest opinion, City Skylines lacks the detail of management SimCity have. The biggest problem in SimCity was the devs approach of "towns" areas instead of a big city. But even so, I understand why it was designed like that, for multiplayer, even if it was a bit odd experience and a bit lacking. Now, City Skylines is a great platform to build a city, but it lacks the management. There is no industry, pollution is not a problem (opposite what it was in SC), tourism was a big deal in simcity, while city skylines just fades, industrial approach of simcity was amazing, using chains of products to sell with a online market that dictate prices of goods, industrial in city skylines is just one more block like housing or comercial, also in city skyline industrial causes so massive transit that we end up passing hours and hours fixing roads. Some may say, well it is more realistic, but in a sense is not, one industrial building drops a truck to deliver goods, then all of them spaw thousands. Sure, it can be manageable in time, in a lot of time even with mods. For me both games are lacking and each one has things the other should have. If city skylines had the micro management of simcity, production chains, tech usable and research like simcity, the detail of tourism and production chains in industrial process, then it would be an amazing game. I critic both games, but I own both games with all the DLC's and expansions that came out, I love both games and occasional I still play simcity, solo, since multiplayer is dead. Both of them take alot of my time (and sometimes fun) playing it because of things that should be more easy to deal. When I play simcity I just think about how great would be to go beyond the limits imposed by the game area, and when I play city skylines I just think how great would be to build areas dedicated to tourism and so on, WITHOUT MODS! Speaking about modding, I use them, a lot of them in city skylines, but most them are just eye candy with the occasional tool like, traffic manager, prop manager and roads. If there is something that really using these mods does in city skylines is management of traffic. It all ends in traffic, in fact, lol, I think city skylines is a traffic simulation not a city simulation lol. (been a bit sarcastic here ;) ) Anyway, to the point of the video, thumbs up, you mentioned some aspects good and bad between both games, visually, I agree, simcity is superior even if city skylines came out like a year after simcity was dying. It has it's faults but graphical is much more better then city skylines without mods. There are mods for city skylines that just make the graphics amazing almost realistic, but I do not have enough power horse to deal with it fully. Thumbs up and thanks for the video.

Hi, thanks for your comment, I currently play SimCity 2013 and it doesn't seem as bad as most people say it is, sure it has a lot of limitations but that doesn't take away the fact that the game can still give you hours of fun. Now I haven't played Cities Skylines, but recently I have begun considering to try it out, and even more after your comment, I am also interested in checking out some of the mods the community has to offer for the game. Particularly that graphics mod you mentioned, in that case, mind if I ask you what are the specs on how PC so I can compare it to mine and see if it's worth it downloading the mod? Thanks
@kar351
6 жыл бұрын
My pc specs are pretty low. CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K (quad core) FM2+ socket (3.7 mhz) overclocked @ 3.9 8 GB ram 1866 mhz Radeon R7 360 But stock, city skylines runs well, graphics are not much demanding but it is a CPU intensive game, in particular when your city has a considerable size, too many stuff going on in worse if let traffic run wild. Of course graphics also depends of the resolution you play, the higher the low fps you will have. I play at 1650x1050 resolution in a 21" monitor, with full details. I do not use demanding graphics mods, just a few things I find it cool looking. But it can be so great in graphics like the mods done for Skyrim ENB (google it or check out Nexus mods if you do not know what is it). I suggest catching a sale on steam and get many of the DLC's, most are good except one or another that just add new buildings with no function. It is a good game like I mentioned but lack the micro management aspect of simcity. But yea give it a try, if you played simcity you will like city skylines for sure.

Yes, SimCity still is a bad game. Besides the 'City'-part of the name (mentioned in the video).. They also ruined the 'Sim' part, when you noticed: - All busses go to the same busstop - All inhabitants go to the same stores (for shopping) and factories (for work) - The inhabitants walk to the shop (physically) closeby. Even when that shop is only accessible by a miles-long 'detour' road. - The fake inhabitant-counter, where the game pretends you have millions of residence. And the general complaints: - Micropayments (per building) - Lies about the (im)possibility of offliine singleplayer mode. - No custom modding (as far EA is concerned) Traffic should not be a problem by the way (after patch 7.0 that is). You can abuse tunnels for long-distance travel, without giving up valuable space. Or just put 4 bridges on top of eachother to quadruple throughput. And really.. They have visually pleasing aesthetics. And such awesome usability and flexible road-design. Really the best ever... Until you realize all zoned buildings are of equal size and squared shape. So, to fully use the 'city' his land available to you, you end up with the primitive typed (8 by 8) grid layouts anyway.

I never really thought this game looked that bad, but I never played it yet. I always thought it looked really good tbh but heard a lot of complaints. I know these days a lot of people say Skylines is the future but I would really love to see EA get as much of maxis back together to make a new SimCity taking the best parts of both Skylines and SimCity since neither game does everything perfectly but they both do a lot of things very well. One thing that I was always thought was SO COOL was the building expansion, like upgrading stuff to add more bits and stuff like that. I was pretty disappointed that Skylines never had anything like that, instead needing you to build multiple of the same buildings next to each other rather than upgrading one thing a lot. The multiplayer aspect always excited me too, not that I have any friends to play with. I really love the art and music and style like that a lot more than Skylines too, even the UI, its way more charming than Skylines’ basic HUD, SimCity has better colours for the HUD and small touches like Sims in the HUD, plus a few extra features like Sim’s having challenges for you and protesting at city hall and stuff like that. It’s a real shame that it seems to be let down due to the map sizes and the traffic constant issues. Although, I have a lot of trouble with Skylines too when it comes to traffic but it’s still better than SimCity as far as I can tell. If they could just make a new game with better graphics and the same style and stuff, but with all the improvements Skylines made, it would be so amazing!

I like the megatowers and skyways. That's one thing that I would like to see added to Cities Skylines. I own both, and have played SimCity 2013 pretty extensively. The only thing that I thought sucked about SimCity 2013 was that if you started a shared map and someone made a city and abandoned it, you could never seem to recover that spot back to build on it. Other than that, I think I had just about as much fun with either of them.

I heard all the bad things about this game when it came out, having never owned a Sim City game myself. I bought Cities Skylines this year and had a lot of fun with it. But watching this video, there are some things I see this game does better and the smaller size and internet connectivity issues... I can see might have been a wholehearted attempt at a collaborative experience. Even if that's not what fans wanted and should have included a larger single player version.

Someone gets it. This comment is way late, but I can't believe I finally saw a comment that actually understood what they were going for. Each player was meant to have a 'section' of city to connect with other players to make a big interconnected city. But no one else seems to have ever understood this. Heaven forbid developers do something fans don't want, as an attempt to have *fun* developing their new project, instead of making the same game over and over. Expanding ideas about what a franchise could be, instead of only sticking to what it is. Did it work out? No. However, seeing SO FEW people actually understand what was intended is so painful when all the complaints ever are is 'bu-bu-but muh city size!!'

@@macdaddymario Developing games isn't about what the developers want, it's supposed to be about what the fans want. Dude, the build space isn't even the size of a large suburb. Simcity 2013 put all it's efforts on the "glass box" technology, I followed the hype and development of this game up to launch and the resource management system was the big sell. After nearly a decade waiting for this damn game, it's something 2004 players didn't ask for, we wanted essentially a bigger better version of 2004. What we got was a tiny little village builder with a resource management system that was broken and guaranteed no Sim got to work on time. We didn't ask for multiplayer either. Glass box and multiplayer were very ambitious but after such along hiatus they shouldn't have tried it on the audience, but rather given us what we were demanding for years. Simtropolis forum goers (from back and the day) know what I'm talking about.

I think the biggest problem of small build area was a design behind how it was introduced to player. Instead of calling each tile a city and sparsely spread on "region" map, they should have been called districts and placed close together on global (i.e. region) map which should've been renamed into City map. That minimal change would've averted larger parts of shitshtorm critique about "tiles are small, this game is not simcity but simtown warrrgh waargh waargh!" that idiots were screeching back then and many still do. Smack some marketing lines like "Build your city districts in coop mode together with friends!" and suddenly a supposed shortcoming comes off as a genuine feature that sells the game. Apart from absolutely unnecessary "always online" policy which completely prevented many people from playing the game during first week of release, nothing was fundamentally wrong with the game. It was just some relatively easy to fix but also very noticeable design mistakes that together with online issues created bad initial publicity. Unfortunately most people are too dumb for a well thought out and constructive criticism and ability to see forest behind trees. So instead of at least giving game another chance, they just kept pouring shit on SC13. At that point no matter what Maxis was or would do, throngs of morons had their mind set on bashing the game on every turn. Ultimately all that led to EA pulling a plug both on Maxis and SC13 and we are still stuck without anything better and/or more modern than SC4. And before somebody jumps in and points at Cities Skylines - no, it is not a good city building game. Skylines is great city PAINTING game which, apart from traffic simulation, completely lacks any sort of interesting mechanic related to running a city, and cities themselves just feel lifeless, artificial and without any personality, having form but lacking substance. Add on top of that an overall lack of content in skylines with its complete dependence on mods, and it hardly can be called a game anymore, more like an engine to which you can download assets and then paint nice cities with unlimited funds to make cool screenshots. As a standalone game out of the box SC13 is much more enjoyable game than Skylines.

One thing that wasn't touched on is the broken highway system between the cities. Delivery Trucks were notorious to getting stuck under the interchanges and causing the highway to back up for distances beyond believe and then would cause your city to suffer because it wasn't receiving any goods. This issue was never fixed by Origin and was one of the major sour points to the game. Yes city sizes sucked, but this bug topped the cake for why most people stopped playing. I absolutely loved playing SimCity 2013. I used to play SimCity 2000 and 4 quite alot, didn't care for 3000. My wife and I loved playing 2013 because of the multi-player aspect, we could run a region just the two of us. And the industry setup was fun to manage as well. Currently we just started playing Cities Skylines and we are missing out on the multiplayer aspect but loving the larger city sizes and modding community that is encouraged which Origin frowned upon to an extent.

I still go back to SC2013 here and there. There's just elements in the game that I really miss in cities skylines. The modular buildings, the park building options (although parklife has helped a lot in that aspect), the way health and crime works is way better than just a number that goes up slowly and the specializations were great, especially tourism. If cities had the tourism aspect of SC2013, with the much, much better public transport system, I'd be stoked.

If your interested in multiplayer city builders, consider trying the ANNO series (2205 not included), the biggest problem with simcity 2013's multiplayer is it's mostly a lie. Your not actually playing multiplayer with friends, the saves are just being screenshot every couple of hours and uploaded to a server. If you spectate your friends city, your only seeing a screenshot of that city, your not watching it live. Anything that you see while spectating isn't actually whats going on in their game, they could be demolishing every single building in the city but you just see the city as it was since that last automatic save upload. This essentially means that all your doing in multiplayer is playing a single player game where save files are just being passed to each other automatically, and when you gift money your essentially just adding money to their save file for them to use. Essentially, your not playing multiplayer, the game is just making you think that you are, they do a pretty decent job of hiding it, but once you discover how it works everything feels a lot lonelier. I'd recommend checking out the anno series to those who haven't, it's not exactly simcity but it's one of the few multiplayer city builders on the market, and there's immediate interaction in those games unlike this. You might be limited in terms of decorative options but it's worth giving a shot.

With Cities Skyline this game is entirely redundant. EA's lies at launch, their insistence that it could not be played offline (when it could as long as you reconnected your internet for a few seconds every 30 minutes) They said "Much of the work is being done in the cloud". Which was nonsense. The game was broken for more than a year before basic things worked. Multiplayer did not work as demand and supply across cities was totally borked for the first 15 months after the game's release. Multiplayer now is still fraught with issues unless you play with people you know and trust. The engine was all style and no substance with sims leaving one home and returning to another. Pathfinding was terrible for vehicles and emergency services. Supply and demand even within one city was broken in many places. The UI looked modern (for 5 years ago) but the in game graphics themselves, the vehicles, people and buildings were not very good at all. The cities were TINY. Barely a hamlet. Scaled they were something like 900 meters across. Many of the fixes were hidden behind the paywall of requiring the first DLC. EA suck. Sim City 2013 sucked at launch and is not the market leader at all.
@RobbieHatley

900m??? Wow, that's even smaller than the smallest cities in SimCity4 which are 1000m x 1000m squares. (And the biggest cities are 4km x 4km.) I don't use either much; I prefer the medium cities (2km x2km, over 4 times the area of SC2013 cities from what you tell me). Wow, they really *did* "downgrade" SC4 to SC2013.

I enjoyed the time I spent playing SimCity2013, but I prefer Cities Skylines if I want a city builder now. I actually tried to go back and play SimCity2013, but I encountered the same old bugs that was in the game before and rage quit. The one major thing they did right was making it multiplayer. The multiplayer aspect and the futuristic DLC is the only thing that makes it stand out from Cities Skylines or even Cities XL. Yes you could build onto existing utilities or services, but that was just a minor aspect that I often forget about and don't miss. Being complexly honest, the best things to focus on in city builders is roads/transport and creating large sprawling cities. The more complex the road systems can be the more fun city builders are; that was even apparent in SimCity4.

Hm, I played Cities Skylines a lot and the longer I played it the more uncomfortable I felt. The traffic is just so dumb! cars don't use all lanes, they all use the same shortest route and create massive jams while actual drivers would look for a way around, etc etc. Also traffic density even in a very small town is so high already, it's completely out of proportion. Now you can fix all of this. You can design super thoughtful and sophisticated road system, public transport, there are tons of mods that let you control every single traffic light and connect every single street lane properly. But honestly That level of micromanagement is just overkill. I want to play a CITY BUILDER, not a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SIM. But that's all you do in Cities skyline. Carefully design your cities around their transportation needs. Its so effectivity driven that there is little room for doing things creatively or beautiful instead of efficiently. I got sick of it. And went back to SimCity IV. Runs terribly but its still the much better game. Its an actual city builder where you build a city, instead of managing traffic lights. Sad that you say traffic in this game is even worse. Otherwise I might have had a try.

I just love that feature! Things C:S does better than SC 2013: -traffic -public transport -map size (even though the idea for the max city size in SC was to have multiple cities having to interact with each other in order to be fully functional, the fact that you can't build cities with a population higher than 100k makes this stupid) -aaaaand a lot of other stuff

Cities Skylines is nice but it lacks depth big time, it's too sanboxy for me. SimCity is a big riddle - how to cram all the buildings. You have to build more cities and specialize them to make it all work which is nice. If not for the terrible traffic, bugged wonders and trams and other things it would be really nice game. I like modular buildings a lot and specializations. Hope they make it better next time.

I just wish there could be a combination between Simcity 2013's art style with Cities: Skyline's mechanics and map size, then it'd be close to perfect. Guess that's where mods come in then.

I presonally find simcity to be the better game as it has more of a sense of charm and theres a feeling of connection to your town/city as you watch it grow and develope. Whereas cities: skylines is much more detatched from the city and feels... klunky..? either way, I think that simcity 2013 is an amazing game with lots of fun to be had, but cities skylines gives you the opportunity for a more detailed simulation of a real city. I like both games but Simcity 2013 is much more appealing to me, personally.

Didn't play it for long, but what I really liked were the different color tones & themes you could direct your city toward. I loved the idea of having a darker, more desolate city, a film noir type of city or someplace bright & beautiful. Future city builders could really benefit by focusing toward this direction. Ugh! Those tiny sizes though! I spent the 90s thrilled about the potential of hugeness for future games only to watch them grow smaller over the years.

There’s even a morality system.. kind of. If you treat your city and sims well, taxes grow and happier music plays, but if you mistreat your city and sims your taxes lower and more dark and depressing songs play. Its one of my favorite features in the game and its so overlooked.

@@funnyword8084 Exactly! Cool stuff like that. It just makes it all the worse how they messed it up at the core though. Hope people don't blame any of it's failure on those features. Happy New Year to you!

I wrote something on Reddit that no one cared about (I'm not a CS fanboy, or a fanboy for anything) but still...things I'd like to see in CS that SC2013 has: -The graphics (like you mentioned), things just look nicer in SC... -Expandable plopable buildings, I just think they work better and are a more realistic thing than keep building more, for example, schools when you could've expanded them... -The experience with police, fire, and health...I LOVE being able to clearly see how the fire, police, and health departments work, seeing the ambulances dispatched and so on (also has to do with graphics)... -Specialization works better in SC, I believe, and it's aided by the plopable buildings and whatnot... -Music... -Moving your view with the right click (why is this NOT a thing in CS?!?)... So yeah, SC2013 is not the disaster people thought it was, it was just a disappointment of a reboot. Great video by the way!!

I was "playing" the game excessively for the first couple of month after it got released. I mainly extracted "real" numbers and mechanics the game was built arround and I reported so many bugs which are still in the game. I.e. people living in a mid-density building of the last stage which has reached its maximum happiness will leave the city instead of moving into that house therefore contributing to bad traffic. The single-page design this game was build arround has plenty of flaws. I.e. products appearing out of thin air at 6 am/pm making deliveries from industry buildings useless (except for the profit of that industry building). Sims still have a random behavior on attempting to find jobs or get to certain places. Back in 2013 I made a video that already proved that this behaviro is non-deterministic. At one point they manage to get to work, the next work shift sims aren't able to reach the workplace at all. Also, the AI on busses is not worth mentioning. They still clutter up like in 2013. The transfer to and from other cities is also meh at best. Maxis/EA could have done way better IMO at least this was the last EA game I've bought since and I'm not regretting my decision. For someone who just plays without the intent of deeper understanding, the game might be fun the first couple of hours but once you see cities dying and run out of resources way to quickly or moaning about pollution (even without any industry and stuff) questionmarks will appear above the heads of the players and they will blame the game and start playing others.

I really tried liking this game, since I LOVE building games/strategy/resource management/etc. I basically played every game in those genre's since 1995. Put over 200 hours in it, got the crap expansion and came back every now and then. I can safely say: Yes it is still VERY bad. Even worse: it was obsolete from the beginning. And that's aside from the bad launch, bugs, stupid ass features or design decisions. My replacement was Cities XL. I know I know, VERY bad gameplay, bugs, etc. But I just loved the grand scale of things. That was enough to make it a better city builder for me than Simcity was back in the day. And indeed, as you stated, now we have Cities Skylines. There is literally 0 reason to ever go back to Simcity. Even with mods.

I feel like the only thing weighing the game down is the tiny building area. The small size requires way too much city planning. A building that was placed a little bit too much to the left will eventually come back and bite your ass just because you don't have enough space to plop your Metals HQ Commerence Division. This forces you to lay out your roads in a perfect grid pattern to get the most out of the available space, preventing creative city layouts. Another thing to note is that all buildings eventually turn into high-rises. That means you can't create a realistic looking city where there are small houses on the outskirts and a bustling downtown in the middle of the city, because the entire city will end up looking like a giant downtown.

We need Cities Skylines’s map size and traffic management with SC2013’s beauty and micromanagement. Both games are so lackluster for me as is.

I actually forgot that this game had multiplayer. I don't think I've ever used that feature. Honestly I think this game is prettier and easier to control than CS, but......... CS has a very major advantage with it's city size. I can only build a city so large in SC before I'm hitting the edges of the map... usually well before I've built up a city as large as I'd like it. If they could patch that though, I'd probably come back and try this game again.

One thing i like about Sim City is that there really is just one big DLC. Cities Skylines is younger and already has 5. *Then again, it's paradox. Look at CK2*

The building customization is about the only reason I ever even think about going back to Simcity 2013, that and the fact that Cities Skylines requires FAR more performance to run. fixing Traffic issues, having cities skylines style build area expansions, and having individual Sims live and work / go to school at consistent locations rather than playing musical houses/jobs every day, I'd love to see a game like this double as a map editor for a GTA and/or Fallout like open world game. I think the solution to the "Death of the Genre" issue that plague some games would be interconnectivity between games of different genres. Rather than trying to make one game do everything, make games of their set genres as usual, make them complete experiences, but make it possible to combine games together for even more possibilities. City builder + Open World sandbox rpg just seems like a given considering how much base building is being added into the latter genre, might as well take it to its logical conclusion. same with RTS. Imagine an RTS or Total War type game where you have to protect or conquer cities built with a city builder, and your population cap is based on the fighting age population of the cities you control. Or a Superhero Game where you have to save a City from a disaster or high crime rate made from a City Builder (play as Maxis Man?) Basically, I think the future of Video Games breaking Genre barriers should be handled more like a cinematic universe, with interconnected, standalone games (just making sure each game is at least as good as any other in its genre, otherwise it's the same problem as before with watered down features only now you're adding the issue of having to buy the game in pieces.)

SimCity is not big in map size, but it's bigger in-depth. If you just want to chill and build a nice city, SimCity is still better. The Glassbox and agents have their problems with pathing, true, but it's still more fun to watch multiple systems working via cool interactive maps, to follow police cars going to the crime scene, or ambulances going to pick up sick sims, etc, especially in a big city. Skylines are more like road builder than city builder.

Congrats on the video! My brother bought me the game back in 2013 and I was so happy because my first simcity was the 3000 and then simcity 4 when EA was already "in charge" But when I first played the Simcity 2013 it was so bad, even the map sizes were terrible
