Amazingly this was re-released on CD as part of Simon May's "Collection". I didn't know this had a 7" release until now. Laughing my back off.

It was featured on 'Themes' (1989) too, along with 'The Dawning', 'People', 'Olympic Track', and 'Wolfgang' and was a very good album.

Here are the lyrics: Alleluia! Alleluia! Glory be to God on high ringing out his praises from every steeple. Now then unto you we cry, "Give us good will and peace to all people." When you're down, in despair, it's then you find his love everywhere, so Glory be to God on high (alleluia) ringing out our song of worship and praising Lord of earth and sea and sky (alleluia) songs of praise to you our voices are raising. The power and the glory, forever amen! In Your care, gentle Dove, we live our lives in service and love. Glory be to God on high, singing and rejoicing from every steeple. Listen to your children cry, show us your way and peace to all people. [now and evermore.] Glory be to God on high. (alleluia) ringing out his praises from every steeple. Now then unto you we cry, "Give us good will and peace to all people." Glory be to God on high. Glory be to God on high. Glory be to God on high. Glory be to God on high. Alle-, hallelujah, alleluia, ah, ah, ah, When you're down, in despair, is when you find his love everywhere, so Glory hallellujah. Glory be to God, glory be to God. Glory be to God on high (alleluia) Glory be to God on high (alleluia) singing and rejoicing from every steeple. Listen to your children cry, show us your way and peace to all people now and evermore.

LOL - not the vocabulary I use, but yeah, it's a rather insipid sound. Songs of Praise did an excellent version 15-20 years ago, with strong lead vocal & good instrumental arrangement.
