This was great. Simon exemplifies what I most love about British musicians and artists, and what is the anthithesis of 'celebrity'culture'. No constructed personality or fashionable affectations. Just a down-to-earth, articulate and sweet-natured guy who loves what he does and wants to share it. Inspiring and comforting at the same time. Thanks all.

Just had a listen to this again after 3 years, what a special show, thanks to you all. I am now the proud (and very fortunate) owner of a Booooom Blast 2 pedal and a Big Trees amp and my word are they a wonderful pair. The Boooom Blast is brutal and loud and The Big Trees delivers harmonics and resonance in bucket loads. A wonderful combination and you can actually crank the amp to the point it sounds like it wants to explode without knocking the house down.

That was just fabulous fun. Also, on the off chance that Simon reads these - my 10 year old daughter & I were in a record shop for one of the record store days back in the summer, I was buying bits & pieces and out of the blue she asked me to get her the new Biffy album (on gorgeous blue vinyl too). I saw the band live years ago at Milton Keynes, great outdoor gig, but hadn’t heard much recent stuff, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. We brought it home, she put it on the hifi, I had to wince through a few choice Anglo Saxon words 🤣 ( I guess she hears it at school ) ... but my god it sounded house-shakingly *epic* (Cop Syrup in particular)... And now my daughter is picking away at a little nylon acoustic I bought her... and when she’s ready for a Metal Zone I’ll be there for her. (Probably still find one for £75, too). More power to your right arm, sir.
