Thank you for supporting Blender. We've been looking for a good Mocap solution for our studio. Will definitely check Rokoko out.

Good on you guys for making this! I use ARP all the time, and I figured a video like this would never happen based on the niche nature of it all. Sam, thank you.

I just recently purchased autorig pro, and have been struggling with trying to use other re-targetting addons, with massive failures! I didn't even realize autorig pro had this re-targetting ability! So thanks for that! I'll be trying this out shortly, and let you know if it works for me! P.S. not that good at following along with video tutorials due to several factors (hearing loss, need captions, etc.) so I kind of transcribed it into a text document I can follow instead.

Hey Rokoko gang - I know there are plans to be able to export to the Unreal A-pose, but will this include being able to export with the Unreal skeleton bone names straight out of the box? If I remember correctly the HumanIK has 1 extra spine bone. It would speed up the process a tonne and introduce less errors! Keep up the great work.

Thank you for the tut is exactly what I've been looking for, however when I to retarget everything looks fine except the shoulders. The shoulders are kinda squished to the body and raised like shoulder pads. Any advice?

Try these first: When building bones in Auto Rig Pro move shoulder markers a little farther away from centerline At 3:43 instead of changing target bones, just set 'Hips c_root_master.x' as root, then scroll down to 'Mapping Preset' and hit arrow down next to import, and choose 'Rokoko (FK arms IK legs)' then press OK and Retarget If these don't work, you may have to build bone list manually. For that watch this in-depth tutorial by CGDive kzitem.info/news/bejne/r6-uy5ZqcZ-Gmag

Can I use Auto-Rig Pro to do a living streaming workflow on the blender? Or is it only possible to use the basic rig tool?

Thanks for these videos, as someone who really dislikes autodesk products it's nice to see blender focused tutorials, if I have a rigify rig but also have purchased the auto rig pro add-on, is there a workflow recommended with both or do I have to use another method for Rigify rig alone? I'd love to use your products to mocap my blender rig soon but afraid will be a messy situation

Excellent video. I usually use Heatmap algorithm for the skinning of the body. Better method for fingers and face

LOVING my Rokoko smart suit and gloves. Quick question, could you please do a Rokoko/Blender tutorial covering using 2 handed weapons, like rifles/double handed swords etc, that would be awesome, thank you 😊

This looks like a great workflow. Hopefully I'll get my suit soon. I ordered it and it said 4-6 weeks but so far it is going to be closer to 12 weeks based on what they told me. Can you guys update that to reflect the actual expectations?

Thanks for posting. I am trying to retarget from mocap model to my character with auto rig but once I click retarget my character breaks in pieces. Any idea why this happens?
@RokokoMotion

Heyo! This sounds like a problem with your bonemap, as a character breaking in pieces is often a result of applying the rotational data to the wrong bones. I recommend double-checking your bonemap as it can be wrong if you auto-generated it, especially if there's a little bit of a difference in how many bones the source and target skeletons have. You might also want to check that you do not have any additional logic on your target rig that can cause this breakage, like IK chains that try to keep parts of the character in specific places while the rest of the body moves with FK.
