Ingredients
for the filling
130g butter
230g sugar
1 pack vanilla sugar
1 pack vanilla pudding powder
3 eggs
500g cream cheese or Quark
200g sour cream
200g heavy cream
for the crust
200g flour
80g sugar
80g butter
1 egg
1 tbs baking powder
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Prepare the Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, combine 130g of butter, 230g of sugar, a packet of vanilla sugar, and vanilla pudding powder.
Add the 3 eggs and mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Gradually mix in the 500g of cream cheese and 200g of sour cream until the filling is smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, whip 200g of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
Prepare the Crust:
In another bowl, combine 200g of flour, 80g of sugar, 80g of butter, 1 egg, and ½ tablespoon of baking powder. Mix until a dough forms.
Transfer the dough into a 20cm cake pan. Use a spoon to press the dough evenly across the bottom and up the sides of the pan.
Assemble the Cheesecake:
Pour the prepared filling into the crust. Use a spatula to spread the filling evenly.
Tap the cake pan gently on the table to remove any air bubbles and ensure the top is smooth.
Bake the Cheesecake:
Place the cheesecake in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour, or until the edges turn a light golden brown.
Cool and Serve:
Once baked, allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least an hour to let the center set.
