At angling 360, we strongly believe that effort equals reward, and we’ll never shy away from a bit of hard work in order to find the fish. However, every now and then it is nice to put the feet up and just enjoy some easy fishing, and that was exactly the plan for this latest edition of Angling 360.
We travel to Broom fisheries, near Annan for a 24 hour session on their infamous, slightly optimistically coined, ‘Specimen Lake’, Muirbeck. Now, we understand that everyone’s own opinion may differ when it comes to what is considered a specimen Carp, but we do have our suspicions when it comes to Muirbeck and the apparent monster Carp that it holds.
Nevertheless, it’s always nice to spend the night in nice surroundings and put a few fish on the bank, regardless of specimen status.
