While most of us are lazing around and our brains are not quite working, this man has shot, edited and put out another freaking brilliant episode in just one day, that too in the middle of a pandemic nonetheless. Loved this one so much, no filters, so candid, made me smile and also think a lot not just throughout but even now after having listened to it twice already, first on Spotify & now here. Specially liked the part about not having the skill to talk to people, that hit home, it felt nice to listen to your take on it, so thoughtful. 💛 Also, I love sketchy behaviour, it's one of those shows that I can re-watch as many times as I want and it always helps better my mood. :)

Hey Kenny , You are an inspiration man. I connected the most to your episode #5 where you talk about working out. The line which hit me hard was "If you can't lift yourself then there is something wrong with you" (11:04) . I tried doing pull-up the next day and couldn't do even ONE. That made me realise that I should get my things sorted, so I made a proper routine and worked out everyday (even during the lockdown) and now I can do 4. It's still small but my life has a proper routine now and I am healthier and happier and get enough sleep too. Thank you for your words of wisdom(not a advice because you don't give one 😄). #Simpleken

Same man! Even I connected so much with that working out bit. Especially the part where he spoke about how working out is related to growth and that we're pushing ourselves while doing those last 3 reps. Just in Kenny's language, "Your brain is a piece of shit" haha and training it is the most important part. The line that stuck with me was "People underestimate having a routine" (this could be from another episode because I have been binge watching the long recordings and it might have gotten mixed up) So yeah, that workout bit resonated with me and it led to taking some action in that direction. I was too lazy to workout since a long time because of this lockdown and the way he said it, it just motivated me to resume and it felt good. Same for me, even I am healthier and have been welcoming to the changes in my life and thought process because of Kenny being his raw, genuine self with us! :D

It does make sense, the extrovert-introvert talk. There is a test, MBTI, which assesses particular personality traits, one of which is extraversion- introversion scale. Earlier I landed on introversion side, now I lie towards the middle of the scale, my professor tells me, it's transition. This happens during lifetime, back and forth, many a times due to the experiences one has.

After a certain age, the friends you've made in the past, tend to move on with their lives and you are left to live all by yourself. Sometimes I overdo it and then a guilt persist that I could have used that time for so many other meaningful things, but then at the same time it relieves my stress and takes my mind off all the worries. This is one example, but in bigger sense how much should we be hard on ourselves and how much should we let it go? To the guy working in Media who asked the question about being an extrovert and interesting. So here’s a handy trick that I use when connecting with people. Ask questions. It’s that simple most effective conversationalists are The ones who ask questions. In all my years in the media I have found that people love talking about themselves. Also pay attention to what they say and be genuinely interested in what they do and who they are. That should usually do the trick. And like Kenny rightly pointed outExtroversion is a skill that can be practiced and improved upon.

Having low self esteem, carry silent personality for all humilitations and critics which put me into depression but i dont seek help from others intentionally for any advice or emotional support literally bottle up everything for long time until my very close circle find out. all these had made me to think that im not capable for a relationship after a break up too. look i hv realised now but im trying to change all that by thoughts... just thought to hear out something from ya. thanks you have made me happy when i um unable to. stay safe #simpleken

So today on a lazy Tuesday I decide to binge through your podcast. I know I am super late and you probably won't come around this comment. So this is to all those who relate to what Kenny is saying, where you start feeling distant or detached towards the things you like; these things can be because you're exhausted and need rest or that you've outgrown certain memories and now it's time to set new great ones. We ourselves want change as we ourselves go through life altering changes. It's difficult and sad at times but once you realise the change you'll be more appreciative of yourself as a person. I hope this helped. ♥️

Hi Kenny, I notice that you only pick long questions in your long recording of you talking so here is a long question for you. We are always made to believe that one should have goals in life, work hard for it, dream for it. Any motivational speaker or a successful person would preach along these lines to become successful. Many even say to use the law of attraction and desire for the things you want in life. On the contrary, my religious text (one of the most famous) says we should always be self-satisfied. Never have any desires. Be free from attachments. Because if we follow the former said path, we will end up being born again. If we follow the latter, we will become free and never come back to life (Eternal Peace). As I think more of it, I get demotivated to struggle and achieve good things in life, for it is not worth the effort. (or is it?) What are your thoughts on it and what would you choose between the two? #SimpleKen

I wanted to thank you for putting out this podcast. I moved abroad 3 months ago (I know, great timing) and I listen to this podcast when I'm cooking or doing some routine stuff at work. For that brief period, I feel like I'm back home ('Luru) having conversations with friends and that makes my day :) I wanted to ask you if you have any stories or moments when you've felt homesick and introspected about why or when that happens. For instance, I find that as I grow older, homesickness gets more real.

Hi Kenny love your long recording of you talking, Helping me maintain my sanity during the lockdown. My Question to you is do u really believe in karma ? Do you think that if someone has done anything bad to you (emotionally ) , that karma finds them and gets it squared off or do u think these people can escape ? Is karma just a way to make ourselves be patient and focus on other stuff. Enlighten us kenny Regards Sameer #simpleken

#simpleken I love your long talks more than stand up comedy. We get to see the real you.Time flies whenever i watch your episodes. During quarantine, i feel like i can do all my chores just listening to these. Keep doing more! Everytime i'm lazy to cook, the first thing i check is if a new episode has come out and not what i need to cook!! Loads of love Kenny!

Why did you smile so quietly with almost schemingly calm eyes after saying 'Are they trying to hypnotize or trick us? Dude, that's happening all the time'. "Innocent" silent smile for 2 seconds. Hypothesis: Kenny's been hypnotizing us.

Okay, four things... 1. 2 weeks late in watching the video, better late than never I guess. 2. Can totally relate to feeling guilty switching on AC during day 3. Can totally relate to AC leaking, mine's too, have put bucket underneath and find it quite meditative 4. And the fan and the blanket and the birds

Kenny thank you so much for this episode. I didn’t realise how badly I needed to hear this from you. When you said you can work on being an extrovert, it felt like you were talking to me. Thank you for being so honest. Also I hope you’re doing fine during these times, absolutely love this and love your work! ❤️ #simpleken

Hey Kenny!! I had been listening to the past “long recordings of you talking” on Spotify...this is the first episode I watched on KZitem. It was jarring to see your face and your hand gestures coz I had gotten so used to just listening to you speak. Anyways, my question is: As a guy who I’m assuming has friends who are girls, what are your thoughts on how girls should treat their guy friends who show inappropriate behaviour with them, and try to cover up by saying that’s how they’re with everyone? #simpleken
