Hi, can I have the size of the sweater you made? I'm trying to make one with a different gauge so some measurement is a need. Thank you and great tutorial btw

with this size of needle and thread, the sweater finished has: length 5cm, width 7cm (-> body circumference 14cm) sleeve 4.5cm. I hope it is helpful for you!

Thanks for your videos. There is one thing that I can't understand is at the end of R23, it is totally 140 stitches. However, in the next rows, back body right are 19 sts, sleeve 1 are 32 sts, front body 36 sts, sleeve 2 are 32 sts, left body right are 19, so 19+32+36+32+19= 138 sts, not 140 sts, where are other 2 sts

It’s like a dense jungle; it’s been so long that I can’t explore it anymore 😅. You can ignore the quantity; the key is to increase the stitches like this: **A + increase 1 stitch + 1k + inc + B + inc + 1k + inc + C + inc + 1k + inc + B + inc + 1k + inc + A Then next: this is back body: (A + inc + 1k); sleeve 1 = (inc + B + inc); front body =(1k + inc + C + inc + 1k), sleeve 2 = (inc + B + inc); back body =(1k + inc + A)

Can I do this with flat needles instead of circular? Will that still work?
@Snailboo

Of course it's still work, I love using circular needle to make some steps easier when I need to move the loops, therewith in this pattern I don't use circle knitting then using flat needle still ok

can you do this tutorial in #3 or#4 light or medium weight US yarn?
@Snailboo

Size of the yarn doesn’t important, it's depend on the material of yarn, then just choose fit your size hook and you should be choose the yarn with "acrylic" in the ingredients list as high as possible (don't use cotton yarn, it will not fur) I hope it's uesful for you 😉

oh my!! I think you asked about the teddy bear yarn, so I reply: it's need acrylic yarn (to make it fur) 😅 I'm sorry for my wrong answer!! If your mean about the sweater knit, any size of yarn is workable as long as it fits size needle, obviously.

@@Snailboo I meant the sweater..If you use thicker yarn it will change everything as far as casting on stitches, and how many rows of stitches. Do you understand? The sweater wouldn't fit the bear if the pattern was followed using a #4 worsted weight yarn for example or even possibly a thinner yarn, you are using heavy thread/yarn in your country..in the US thread/yarn of this weight usually isn't classified by mm only by weight numbers...mm in this example is the thickness of the thread/yarn ..the pattern is the same yes, but nothing else would be if I used a typical US yarn

@@ImGinaMarie of course if you change the size yarn, the size of your finished will change accordingly, I use 0.8mm of yarn, if you choose size like me (with any kind of yarn as long as it has 0.8mm and size needle same way) it will always fit with the bear.

Mute it if you don’t want the music cause I don’t care for piano music either
