Have you guys checked out the Core Tackle Hover Rig hooks yet? They have a heavier one too. They're for soft plastics but the weight is in the hook shank so the bait stays more horizontal. They have weedless ones also. I just moved from the NC foothills to the VA Beach area. It's time to get back to fishin'! I'll be tossing big jigs for cobia this evening.

That's good to know, I've always done it the other way. On another note, I was considering getting the Z-man kicker crab for sheepshead, any thoughts on that.

I noticed that the paddle tail is pointing downward,many fisherman say the paddle tail should be pointing upward, which is correct?
@Saltstrong

It's pointing upward once it's rigged.

What’s the difference between a tip and a hack?😂
@Saltstrong
Жыл бұрын
🤔 Tips are more obvious...whereas hacks might not be something everyone thought of
@johnkarges8829

@@Saltstrong ah. Mostly, I was just jocularly chiding y’all as hack has become synonymous with tip from its original meaning of physically altering something to improve it. Language evolves, often rapidly. And this is an excellent tip too.

A hack repurposes something to make something new or a new function, a tip is merely a way of doing something better.
