Can we get more videos of Gabriel love his take on cutting and how he explains things!
@DCpolo10

I know people are saying it looks the same and in terms of style there is no question it does. But if you look at the end result, his whole look is cleaner. Beard is shaped, which makes a world of difference in my opinion and the hair was just a simple trim with some style added in. Not every cut needs to be a drastic change.
@Beardbrand

We agree 100%. Of course, we realize we'll always receive a little bit of hate whenever we feature haircuts like this because they aren't monumental in terms of changes, but, we think that the subtly of Gabriel's work in making this style look cleaner and more refined is the highlight of this video. Sometimes, you can learn a lot from just a simple trim. Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate it! - Jack

But like whats the point in even getting a haircut if It hasn't grown to an unwanted length? It looks exactly the same. At least wait another month or two of hair growth then cut it.

@Feather because bro... like the guy said he just wanted it cleaned up, it doesn't need to be a durastic change. That's the point lol, you ain't listening...

Beard brand if your going to have this Felipe guy work for you please keep out the barber bashing and have some pre set idea for good commentary If they are getting a cut and trim. I felt Gabriel had to really dig and pry info out if the him. He kept saying he didn't like it short or this or that then turn around and say whatever or I'll leave it in your hands. Gabriel totally saved this video for me Felipe about killed it.

Love Gabriel but I kind of feel like he was too handcuffed with this cut. The client literally said “I trust you” but didn’t want much done with his hair. It seemed kinda like a waste of both their time. That sucks cause when I saw Gabriel I was excited to see him work but in the end was disappointed at how little he was allowed to do. With that being said, it was neat to see razor over comb technique and the client seemed satisfied. Peace and Love.

This was definitely more a maintenance trim rather than a huge transformation. We still think Gabriel did a fantastic job given what he had to work with, and honestly it was interesting to see his take on this type of haircut. @JakeHughes-zq5cv

Well after you use the scissors , you can use the razor over comb technique if you see any bits of hair that have extra volume that you don’t want and razor over comb will lock in the style the barber cut your hair into

That was painful to watch,,, most clients dont like to be that involved... i know it sounds weird to say that but if you've been a barber for a while you understand what im saying, consult with the client at the beginning of their haircut dont ask them for permission to use a technique and keep asking them throughout the haircut it seems like your unconfident as fuck and puts doubt in there head... i use to do that when i first got my barber license and it annoyed the shit out of people

exactly you're absolutely correct when I get a haircut and keep getting ask multiple questions throughout the haircut I start to doubt them makes it seem like they don't know what they're doing like they are very unconfident in themselves

6 жыл бұрын
What Brady said....I mean if you watch a video of a haircut with no dialogue, what’s the point? By explaining what he’s doing to the client, it allows the viewer to know the technique and effects, so that they can either use it or ask for it later.

Nice consultation-"So what do you want?". How about, "When was your last cut?" "Do you want to see skin?, do you want some scalp coverage?" It's pretty basic. And regardless of his last crappy cut, don't ever undercut you or any stylists price. We already are questioned about pricing , yet the average barber/ stylist makes $2,800 a month. Our average price in the city - if you can execute , educate and perform behind the chair like you know what your doing and value your craft in a professional manner then $50 is worth it.
