Great lesson mate. I love playing intervals and obviously double stops as well.

Great tutorial! I use dyads a lot and feel like they are the "in betweens" of chords. Not as full but have a wider range

Thanks for this. I was playing Scar Tissue for the first time today and did not know the theory of what I was doing. Problem solved 👍

Sorry if this is a bad question sir but should I study intervals before this? This is so interesting but I think my theory is holding me back and want to step forward properly:)

So what are two notes that make up a minor dyad, and 2 notes that make up a major dyad? I know that the notes D and A makes up a neutral ‘power chord’ dyad

Hi Ant, this'll do nicely. Trying to express my playing away from the norm & I hit a wall, not sure where to take what I've got in my head.

Ahh perfect! In that case I’m really happy I made this David 😂 yeah sometimes it’s nice just to mix it up and strip it down to it’s basics, another favourite of mine is the ‘6th’ dyad which has a really haunting sound, you could try for example 5th on the E and then either 4th or 3rd on the D string (for major and minor) they sound great!
