Let's put it this way. The Accuforce is a 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo, and the Simucube 2 is a 2019 911 GT2 RS. We all have urge to get the latest shiney new toy. The SC1 is a fine DD wheel solution. It has great performance, and I think it has proven itself to also be very reliable. Especially the Mige motors most use with the SC1 controller. If there is some new feature set that the SC2 offers that you think you must have then buy one. To be honest I would not sell my SC1 to buy the SC2. Just not enough improvement to justify it for me. Now, that may change as the SC2 platform matures moving forward. The 6 pin plug is no surprise - the standard contacts that size are rated 10 each in stamped steel. Try not to plug them in and out too much or pull sideways on them. For a fixed installation they are great but they generally only rated for 500 insertion/disconnection cycles. Pulling sideways against the pins can reduce that life radically. (The pins are folded sheet metal - you can bend them but if you connect the, tie wrap them so there is no movement, and leave them they can last forever (you will need to plug/unplug them occasionally to clean up the contact spaces but we are talking once a year unless there is lots of dust or your humidity is constantly high - still no more than once every 4 months. Those 500 cycles will last you far into the time when your wheel is obsolete if done right. (Sorry - I'm just a storehouse of useless knowledge and I can't help sharing it when I can inform someone. By the way - they antenna is probably laid out on a printed circuit board but your description is otherwise correct in layman's terms.)

You talk about that you have a vague feeling on assetto corsa, would you discribe what you meaning exactly? My problem is the building of the forces seems to be unnatural. As example: when i setup the force feedback and dampening settings that the a sporty roadcar which i can compare to a personaly driven car feels normal stable and the steering power feels normal on normal driving the steering wheel builds to much force when the car looses his rear end and i have to balance a drift, again i compare it to personal experiences with different cars When im setting the steeing wheel that this oversteering power is manageable i get a to easy steering wheel on normal driving. @@simracinggarage3026 Barry, this review was fantastic as usual but also underwhelming. I would have liked to see you discuss how the driving experience feels compared to the other DD just like the comparison video you did before. If you're going to review the SC2 Ultimate, kindly make sure you extend your elaboration against Leo's SS2. The hardware is important but its the driving experience the counts the most. Thanks!

I think, overall Leo's SS2 is still the benchmark. What you think?

Would have loved to hear what the motor sounds like or you talk about how loud the noises it makes are when playing in a house at night with others sleeping? 🤔

The Motor is nearly silent. The biggest noise would be the Beep if you exceed the FFB-Settings. And the Shifters Click.
