I haven't seen these in over forty years and it seems just like yesterday. I loved watching this after school.

If Popeye did take care of the elephant after he eat his spinach, so does Sinbad Jr. by pulling his magical belt.

I remember this cartoon! But there is a slight problem...Mammoths were NOT meat-eaters, and so would NOT want to each Sinbad Jr.and Salty for dinner!

In both the Sam Singer and Hanna Barbera productions of this cartoon, Sinbad seems effeminate. It’s not too much of a stretch to imagine Sinbad as female. What if they did just that, produce a new cartoon with the main character as female? Or better yet, make a live action feature film adaptation with...Sarah Hyland...in the role?

That could raise hackles when she tightens her belt and becomes "strong as a hurricane." Sinbad becomes visibly more muscular when that happens, after all.
