Yes the drummer is very good but to say the best ever ( especially on this tune ) is saying quite a bit. Check out Charly Antolini's drum solo on Sing Sing Sing on youtube, That drumming is the best iv'e ever heard on this classic drum feature.

Honest appraisal he’s not Vincent or Krupa but for an amateur he has some nice chops. Moves from singles to doubles with ease, nice snare work and a one handed roll briefly and all locked in with the hi-hat.

Swing music cuts across generations like no other genre of songs. SSS especially, with its nonstop driving drum beat. Story has it that when Prima wrote the song in 1936, he titled it Sing, Bing, Sing, referring to Mr. Crosby. No evidence has ever surfaced to verify or disprove it though.

COLIN BALL: YES, THIS IS A TERRIFIC DRUM SOLO. WE'RE NOT LISTENING TO THE ORIGINAL. WE'RE LISTENING TO THIS ONE!! I, MYSELF WANT TO JUMP UP AND DANCE ALL AROUND THE OFFICE TO THIS MUSIC. THAT DRUMMER PUTS HIS HEART, SOUL AND ARMS INTO BEATING THAT DRUM. HIS WHOLE BODY IS JUST JUMPING AND THAT TAKES A LOT OUT A MAN/WOMAN. HE IS Sooooo EXCELLENT!. NO NEED TO TELL US ABOUT GENE KRUPA OR BUDDY RICH. WE KNOW THEY ARE SENSATIONAL. I LISTEN TO THEM ALL THE TIME, TOO. THERE ARE 1,000's OF GREAT MUSICIANS IN THE WORLD, BUT WE ALL HAVE OUR GOD GIVEN TALENTS. NO TWO PLAYERS ARE THE SAME. JUST ENJOY THEM FOR WHAT THE PLAY. WE DON'T HAVE TO PUT PEOPLE DOWN. Mr Drummer: I like your solo. Are you able to play 2 bass drums? Louis Bellson, I heard was the first to use 2 If you use 2 bass drums, try playing eighth notes at this tempo in the solo. Then only the bass drums. See how the audience reacts. If you do that, I do not think you will return to the single bass drum set.
