Passengers on a Singapore Airlines flight hit by severe turbulence, described a sudden, dramatic drop as "all hell broke loose" on board the Boeing airliner carrying 229 passengers and crew. Flight SQ321 was cruising at 37,000 feet from London to Singapore. But as the plane flew above Myanmar, it suddenly hit extreme turbulence, wildly throwing passengers, flight attendants and inflight meals and around the cabin. Flight tracking data shows the plane rapidly plunged before climbing several hundred feet. The dip and ascent was repeated for about 90 seconds. The plane was diverted to Bangkok after the incident. One passenger died of a suspected heart attack and more than 50 were injured, many of them had broken arms. Images from inside the plane show dented overhead bins, personal belongings and food strewn across the floor and passengers and crew covered in blood.
