69-year-old Aunty Sham has over 30 years of experience in the F&B business. A native of Java, she offers a variety of Muslim food like Mee Robus, Mee Soto, Lontong. Her signature dishes are Ayam Penyet (chicken 'smashed') and Fish Penyet.
Each plate of penyet comes with fried tofu, tempeh, tomato and cucumber, sprinkled with crunchy batter and crackers. Chicken and pomfret fish, fried to golden brown, are crispy outside and juicy inside. Aunty's homemade spicy sambal Belacan makes it a perfect match with the meat.
