This Part 2 of my Overhaul Series shows multiple procedures for preparing your machine to sew like new again! First, we cover how to reinstall the parts removed for cleaning/inspection for this procedure. This machine was missing its oil wick. I explain what the wick is and why its often missing. If you have one, don't remove it unless you are replacing as it is part of the lubrication system for your Singer 66, Singer 99, and Singer 185 models. Also shown here is HOW TO ADJUST FEED DOG HEIGHT! If you have another set of hands, its quite simple. If you are holding all of this yourself, you may find yourself looking as awkward as I do, but its doable!! These machines can sew when neglected, but just wait until you see and hear how strong and efficient yours can perform when it has had the maintenance that the original engineers of these devices intended for them. Watch for my next video with this machine when I show it sewing like a champ!
