Wonderful. Thanks you so much for sharing. I have been craving for some real Filipino music and culture. This is the first genuine material I have seen! It has heart and makes sense! So it seems that real Filipino culture mirrored and closely resembles Balinese and Javanese music and culture. before Colonialism of Spanish and American Catholicism removed most of their history... up north at least!

It's islander culture that also has been watered down from Spanish and then American rape and pillage. So I think they are doing pretty good to revive it. Note is it closely resembling Balinese and Javanese music and culture.

It's literally sloppy tho...? - What chaos was 1:54-2:11 - Random adjustment of the clicker/clapper at 3:25 Like I understand that this is a great idea to revive it, it keeps the culture alive but calling someone stupid on a performance-based comment is, frankly, also stupid.

It’s all far fetched. You should come up with guidelines of how singkil is traditionally performed. This is really poor choreography. You’ve got money for customs but it’s a terrible performance. What happened to those who safeguard authenticity. And no the royal threshold is never placed on the floor.
