@ha ho thank you for acknowledgement of just how amazing peter truly is doing in being a single father, many men don't get enough praise and support and recognition for the possitive and uplifting beneficial good they do. This stated our dad is a sociopathic narc with alcoholism and mid stage cirrhosis and relief being as adults we don't have to endure him within our daily lives peter is amazing and as a man who thank God - doesn't seem to have allowed his formative years trauma impact him today - whereas, I and my siblings are impacted although i am a certified trauma support specialist along with many other strings to my bow. I am beyond proud of peter who seems not to carry the past to the present with him .- I am also proud of peter on a personal political level - Your acknowledgement as a professional psychologist is truly kind and so truly valuable and affirmative of peter's goodness and purity of fatherly love of these little ones. Did you see the bedroom preparation video? peter showed just prior to the arrival of the little ones?? Their shrieks of "my own" killed so many of us as in broke our hearts - contemplating that the little innocents have possibly never owned anything of their own prior to their arrival to peter. If you want to see awful parenting saccone joly's and Ingham family on youtube

You’re good, Peter. You’ve got the dad thing down. I’d ignore the endless stream of know it all’s in these comment sections. I doubt any of them have extended themselves and their brilliant advice to any child in need. Respect, Peter.

After 30 years off taking care of myself (and from that point always enough food, clean clothes and clean house ☺️ ), one off my first thoughts each day is still what I’m gonna get for dinner 😬 (breakfast and lunch I have a standard weekly routine). Also my fridge is packed, just to be sure I have enough. Still. After 30 years! Imagine how it feels for those kids, who don’t have (that much) control over their food 🫤

YOUR TEEN BOYS SHOW A LOT OF GROWING SELF CONFIDENCE AND A SENSE OF MATURITY. FOR A BOY THAT IS A SIGN THAT YOU ARE RAISING HIM RIGHT AND ESPECIALLY IF HE CAN BE CALM HAPPY FOR HIMSELF AND FOR OTHERS WHILE CONSIDERING THAT THEY ARE DIFFERENT FROM HIM. YOU CAN SEE THIS IN A BOY EVEN WHEN HE IS SO YOUNG . HE HAS SOMEONE TO LEAN ON AS HE FINDS HIMSELF. THAT IS WHAT MAKES THE GREAT MEN THAT WE ALL NEED IN THIS WORLD.

Mom of three boys, here. We assigned jobs for everyone to do so that I'm not overwhelmed with chores. One boy is responsible for trash and changing out bath/hand towels, one is responsible for making sure the shoes are put away nicely, and the other is in charge of gathering the hampers. Extra chores can be put on a chore chart, i.e., putting dishes away, feeding the animals, etc., and it was done at the same time every day. As they got older, they became responsible for doing their own laundry. Obviously cleaning their sides of the rooms is a daily event, but they learned to take care of their things. Was/is it perfect? No, but they helped and it worked to make my day easier.

Rewards could be used to motivate such as small treat, money for the dollar store, favorite video or game, etc. Eventually it becomes a habit. Lol you are doing a great job, Peter. You should share your high and low with the kids. Be truthful. As a child from a terrible past, kids are resilient with actual caring people around.

Peter, you are an awesome person and father. You are doing an excellent job. You channel is one of my favorite. To make it easier for you and prepare your kids for living on their own when they become adults teach the littles ones to clean up behind themselves and how to wash and dry their clothes. And teach them it is being more safe for them to walk with the dog verses running with the dog because they may fall and hurt themselves. Also, teach them it is not polite to talk while someone else is talking. It is showing kindness to listen to the person who is talking and when they are done with their statement then make a comment. Enjoy your day

Thank you for sharing your very busy day with us, Peter. I agree with the other commenters on the importance of having simple, daily chores for them without fail. Putting their own toys away, learning to pick up after themselves, even helping with laundry are chores they are capable of doing. I don’t know their ages, but I do know that young kids (even older kids) love being read to, which is very educational. So make sure you invest in a variety of children’s books. They also enjoy simple writing exercises, drawing, jigsaw puzzles, etc. I don’t think watching videos all day long is in their best interest. And finally, make sure good manners are being instilled. For example, if they need you or anyone to do something for them, they should always ask politely, i.e., “Can you pause it, please,” etc. Parenting two teens and two small kids is tough, but you are doing a great job.

May I suggest some things. The yard should be cleaned after the dogs go out. It allows you to have a play area for the children. Re clothes, after the children have washed up, they should pick clothes suitable for play that they will change later after the outside playtime spent at home or elsewhere. They wash up again and change for dinner. They are not used to having things, so it would be good for them to learn how to live with limits. You should try to have them put SOME of the toys away before going out and before bed. Two trunks on each floor are a good idea. It's nice that Kai goes along with you to the park. Good luck.

You are doing a wonderful job Peter. Keep up all the good you are doing, and God will surely bless you for it. Make sure to have time for conversations with each and everyone of them daily. Teach them good values to live by. Pray with them, and read the word of God together daily. Best done every day early and at breakfast time. There is audio on KZitem, where a voice reads any chapter you choose, which is very helpful while your hands are busy. That helps everyone to stay out of trouble. All ages. Pray always asking for guidance and protection from above. We all need it. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💖❤💖❤

You do not have to force children, but teach them with love and they will get the :message:. That's all I'm saying. Hi Peter... thanks for sharing🙂 Simba looks great with his short summer cut. His leash is too long, tho. Letting him get too far from u can be a problem. About the kid's toys & shoes.... THEY must learn to put their own stuff away!! Their stuff, their responsibility! Going behind them & doing it FOR them is not good. Also, it's great u have a washer & dryer at home! Everyone in ur household is old enuf to at least separate their dirty clothes into bins to be washed or even to put them directly into the washer. It's a step they shud learn and it makes it easier for u. They certainly can put their own clean clothes away.... I hope they're doing that. That's pretty much all I had to comment on. Otherwise, ur doing a fantastic job!🌟👏🌟👏🌟👏🌟👏🌟 Keeping everyone engaged and fulfilling all their needs PLUS ur own keeps u busy from BEFORE sun-up til AFTER sun-down. But I know u agree that it's worth it🙂 God bless u and ur beautiful family❣️🙏🙂
