I disagree with your statement but respect your opinion. It can only be hard in your mindset, with the Grace of God, single parents have raised successful & prominent people eg LeBron James, President Obama all were raised by a single parent. Never underestimate yourself as a single parent. Sometimes it's war in a two parent household so it's all in your mindset & choosing to remain calm in the midst of the storm, single parents can succeed in America by the Grace of God. Live within your means & budget. There are several government programs that help single parents you just have to research. There are food banks and food stamps checks if you don't make enough. Don't be discouraged as a single parent come to the USA if you get an opportunity just be organized. With the school drop off, always do a research before eg renting or buying a house, rent or buy at least 2 miles away from school so the kids can be picked up & dropped off by the school bus for free. Research and use ALL free government programs like free housing, free food stamps/checks, free school lunch, free day care ie government pays for you, & work one good job and go to school to improve your skills & later get & work one very good job.

@Diva Diva68 please notice that she was expressing her perspective on this issue which is very valid. Single parenthood is very difficult. Very limiting and she's gone through explaining how and why from her experience. She certainly did not say it's impossible; she's managing am assuming as one. Invalidating her reality is actually gaslighting. For you to qualify for these free stuff, you must not make past a certain amount of money, after which you start paying for portions of your expenses. Basically the system keeps you poor. We need stories and voices from everyone and we don't need to sugarcoat anything.

Are you invalidating her experience because Obama's mother told you that she did not struggle. Has she said that her kids won't be great. I am a single mother in Europe and it isn't easy at all. She gave HER EXPERIENCE don't give her long speeches pthoooo

@@mpendamuziki did you read my first line? I said I respect her opinion. And listen, I have walked both paths so I have experience been both in a married household which was war and mental torture and in a single household which is peaceful so I am speaking from experience, ok. And read my first line, I have used these government programs and improved my life & income then moved out of the programs, but I used the govt programs while going to school then moved out once I got my degree so you just have to be organized and research, nothing is easy even married people still fight. If you're a single mom of one (1) child school age & you win green card, contact me, I will make sure you succeed by the help and grace of God.

USA is the kingdom of single parents both moms and dads don't be fooled. People divorce here every day. It super easy to divorce and marry as many times as you like in the USA, most marriages are contracts in the USA.
