A friend was given a trashed mobil home, he wanted the frame and wheels to make a trailer for his farm tractors . He knocked down most of what was left with a sledge hammer, hooked it up to his truck hauled it home debris flying everywhere. He welded steel plates on the frame, and it made quite a heavy duty trailer. You can do those type of things when you're 26 and strong as an ox

at least he knew enough to add to it because just like camper frames, they are not very strong. especially when the structure is removed. they kinda work together.

It’s funny u say that I’m actually 26 right now and have just landed a little job to destroy a dryvan trailer on here looking for tips

The last mobile home I disabled I used the salvage to make my daughter and granddaughter a 8x16 storage shed with a playhouse in the front third and sold 250 dollars of scrap metal and made a tilt bed 16 foot trailer but it took 30 days to complete everything.

I would take demos every day, problem seems to be the cost of disposal these days is very costly. Thanks for watching Sam!

I have a trailer I have to demo. I'm going to have to rent something so would you suggest a track or a mini?
@batterpm11

I didn’t have my mini available at the time of this demo but if I did I would have definitely used it. Get your bins as close as you can and push everything to the middle, smash it up and load.

Was this a job for a customer? What did you charge for this? I'm quoting a trailer demo now. Thanks for the video!

I did this job for my parents so I didn’t charge anything, if I was to bill something like this I’d plan on a 3 day rate. 3- 30 yard dumpsters or 2 40’s

When I do a demo job I try and keep everything pushed to the inside

Generally I would too, I was very tight on room. The whole property was getting cleaned up anyhow so it didn’t matter to much. A mini would have helped.
