This is one of my favourite movies of all time. Cast and music... Wow...also reminds me of my youth...all the dudes in my highschool looked like that. All girls looked a little bit grungy. There were so many live concerts at the weekends.

SO true that there were a lot of bands like this in the 90's. Usually had a good guitarist, a solid drummer, and even someone good on bass. But the front man couldn't sing and was usually the front man because he had rich parents or an awesome place to practice or a good hookup or something.

Many could sing and were terrific bands. The 1990s were a turbulent time: it was difficult to get snagged by a label that could support your band without selling out to the "big tower wreckard" companies that would sell your music to McDonald's or Nike for peanuts and overplay. Was heavily into grunge… I should have gone to Seattle from San Francisco … it was February 1993 I didn’t take advantage of that visit at all music wise :( I’m 46 and lamenting this shit in 2021
